10/10The Manager provided us with an umbrella, as we didn’t have one, and we needed to walk back to our hotel 5 blocks away in pouring rain last Friday night. She was lovely! Excellent customer service, coupled with great people watching and the food was just…merveilleux!!! This restaurant is a gem!

4/10Good service, nice decoration, nice location. We ordered fried shrimp and they were very unhealthy, almost like street food. The steamed fish had no flavor. It didn't have a good atmosphere, it was almost empty, we were the only table occupied. And the price was absolutely out of place, almost 400 euros for three people, and we didn't even order dessert or coffee. It was a big disappointment.

10/10Visiting Paris and not knowing where to eat? Well, I’ve had an amazing dinner at Marius et Janette and I have only good things to say about this restaurant. The staff is incredible and very attentive. I remember telling my partner that I wanted to wait a bit before having the main course and immediately the waiter told me that he would give orders to the kitchen to wait. I very much appreciated that. As for the food, it was amazing. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The decoration was also incredible and I’m for sure returning to eat there. Suffice it to say, I totally recommend Marius et Janette!

10/10If you want a seafood tower there is none better. There are 3 or 4 types of oysters, excellent shrimp, delicious clams, escargot, langoustine and a crab. It was the best we have ever had. The fried whiting was the best preparation of the fish.

10/10We wanted a special seafood restaurant for our last night and Marius & Janette was the perfect solution! The staff was welcoming and service was efficient without rushing us. Our waiter was helpful in describing different dishes which helped with our choices. Tartar of tuna and seabass was delicious. We shared a main of sole. Portions were ample and we splurged on a fine bottle of Meursault. It is a bit expensive but provides a fine dining experience. We recommend!

4.5/10Quality of food is very disappointing , from the salad that had wilted tomatoes and tasteless to the tuna tartar that I had to put olive oil , salt and lemon to be able to consume it, I guess anyone an open a restaurant on George V , ????????????

10/10Delicious! We loved Le Bigorneau which was served as we were seated. I had the red mullet over cèpes mushrooms which was divine. The oysters wer lovely and briny. We will definitely return.

10/10Top notch service! Hostess was best we ever encountered. Super friendly staff. Went out of their way to serve us a dish that was no longer offered on the menu. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great ambient lighting for a romantic dinner. We truly enjoyed our time there.

10/10Freshest seafood and raw shellfish. We had gillardeau oysters and Dover sole. Simple yet perfect. Warm atmosphere so relaxed but elegant. Pricey but worth the splurge.

6/10Food is high quality however we have been really shocked by the poor service. Even though it was a Sunday early January with very few guests, a restaurant with such high reputation could not allow such neglectic attitude. Out of 6-7 waiters nobody speaking english (or the ones who speak couldn't bother serving us), music turned off, nobody explaining the food or wishing "enjoy your meal", the menu updated to the season still contains elements that are not available, at the end the waiters opening front door to signal that we should leave...

10/10If you like fish, you will love Marius et Janette. Everything about this restaurant is first class. The staff is bilingual, friendly, and excellent. The food is really great. I would recommend the sole except that everything on the menu is terrific. Decisions, decisions, but you just can’t go wrong. Don’t miss the chocolate soufflé for dessert.

10/10It just doesn’t get any better than my experience with a friend and business associate at Marius et Janette last night. If you are a fish person, you’ll feel like you died and went to heaven with so many outstanding selections. What was undeniably also terrific was the setting outside on the sidewalk, the mood lighting, and the separation from the sidewalk afforded by plants. It was all perfect, and complemented wonderfully by the outstanding, professional and friendly bilingual staff. This restaurant shouldn’t be missed if you find yourself in Paris.

6/10The staff and the restaurant are very nice. That’s the best part. The food is overpriced and not worth what is charged. The portions are small. The John Dory fillet was so full of bones that it was inedible which was a shame.

6.5/10Below expectations. The food is brasserie level for the price of a Michelin star cuisine. The crab salad came three minutes after ordering, ice cold direct from the fridge, and was just a crab salad. Most of the menu is standard French seafood meals, nothing special or inventive. I do not think anything changed in this place over the last 10+ years, the salt crust seabass is still good, and the oysters are great, but you would expect it from any good brasserie in central Paris in January (not that all of them are good). Correct food, polite service, but does not justify the price.
