10/10Everything is always perfect at Marius et Janette. This is the best seafood restaurant in Paris, which, incidentally, also serves the best mashed potatoes I have ever had in my life. If you are in the mood for seafood in an elegant setting, this restaurant cannot be beaten. Finish with a soufflé for dessert!

7/10Having been to the restaurant quite often in the past we were rather unimpressed with the service. It was slow, inattentive and lacking in an interest in the client. No smile or greeting upon entry, waiters who simply wanted our order and be done. Never a question whether we were enjoying our meal. And the food was just typical of a fish restaurant, with nothing memorable. This was not for dining, and that’s the essence.

10/10The Manager provided us with an umbrella, as we didn’t have one, and we needed to walk back to our hotel 5 blocks away in pouring rain last Friday night. She was lovely! Excellent customer service, coupled with great people watching and the food was just…merveilleux!!! This restaurant is a gem!

4/10Good service, nice decoration, nice location. We ordered fried shrimp and they were very unhealthy, almost like street food. The steamed fish had no flavor. It didn't have a good atmosphere, it was almost empty, we were the only table occupied. And the price was absolutely out of place, almost 400 euros for three people, and we didn't even order dessert or coffee. It was a big disappointment.
