10/10We had a wonderful last night in Paris! No problem getting in with all our bags 😅 and then the experience just got better and better! We had never been in a sushi bar, so the concept was new to us, but we quickly got the hang of it and started devouring dish after dish - especially because we had 50% off so we were determined to make the most of it. As a vegan I found a couple suitable options, and had some mango for dessert as well. Finally, we had a little chat with the employees about our travel plans, left a tip (remember to tip your servers😉), and got some little presents from the manager! Such a memorable night! Would absolutely recommend going here during your stay in Paris :)

8/10Nice Matsuri and fresh sushis. Hot food on order only so it comes hot. I regret the fact that menu with hot food through a QR code.

5.5/10We had great expectations, but it was a quite basic restaurant. Despite the advertised price (25€) we spent over 40€each without ordering a la carte. Quite a surprised. Quality of the food is good

6/10IMPORTANT WARNING FOR COELIACS: Allergen information in menu is not correct. In Menu is written that "vegetable temperatura is gluten free. That's incorrect. After asking them if "vegetable tempura" was really gluten free (which is quite uncommon), they gave me the official allergen list and... surprise! The list confirmed that "vegetable tempura" has gluten. I wonder if other dishes in the menu are categorized as "gluten free" but they are not. Be extremely careful.

5.5/10The service was very nice. However, it was extremely hot outside and inside and the food didn't feel fresh. The sushu rice was also not good, very blant. You didn't get fresh wasabi, and the topings were not traditional.

10/10This has always been my favorite Matsuri! The dishes we ordered and the staff are really excellent! Mr Jin at the sushi bar prepared s deliciious and beautifully garnishec tuna chirashi with edible flowers. A delight for the eyes and the stomach! The 2 staff members who took care of us were lovely and professional . I will be back in July for my last sushi fix before i retire to Florence!

2/10Awful restaurant, poor service, cold food. It was really disgusting! The only bad experience I had during my stay in Paris. After a few plates I asked for the check and I left the restaurant. I strongly suggest you to avoid this place if you don’t wanna get a stomachache and ruin your night...

Dear Frederico, we are very sad to read that you found our dish quality disappointing . Our Norwegian salmon is delivered in the form of a net every day, caught less than 4 days ago; and our bred royal sea bream, arriving whole in our restaurant and not emptied, this requires more precise work on the part of our sushi chefs. The yellowfin tuna from natural fishing arrived also in the form of frozen loins in order to limit parasite and microbiological risks. Matsuri prepares its rolls and nigiri at room temperature. The rice is kept slightly warm so that it is easy to handle and sticky. Nori leaf is a very delicate product; on contact with air and humidity, it reacts quickly. We advise you to order minute: gunkan, temaki, and maki for optimal tasting. We are sincerely sorry if this day was particularly complex for our room staff, an understaffed service or a peak in traffic can sometimes make room service a little slower. Regards, Matsuri Team

10/10We went to the wrong one (there is one in Paris with a similar name) and arrived at the correct one late. Our reservation got cancelled, but we booked another one. The food and services are very good!
