    No service at all. Nobody even asked us if we want to drink

    We had a confirmed booking, but the staff didn’t greet us professionally. They also didn’t provide us with information about the menu or pricing. When we asked for the bill, we were surprised to see the price per plate, which we had assumed was an open dinner per person. Additionally, there were no discounts offered, unlike what we had been informed about during our booking, where a 30% discount was mentioned.

    This is below average Japanese food, is way more expensive than most of the restaurants but with a poor quality on food, I guess they charge you because of the "trendy concept". Not worth it! I won't come back & I do not recomend it.

    Very nice space and concept. The service is amazing and everyone very welcoming. Unfortunately we did not experience it to the fullest as the food was exposed and people were coughing and breathing in a distance of a few centimeters from it. We tried a few dishes that were prepared and placed right away on the isle but still would have loved to try more. Having tried this type of restaurant in Japan, I really appreciated all the dishes being protected in cases while moving around tables and hope to see this in Paris too.

    Service was really bad. I understand they might be understaffed or anything but they really don’t care about your experience. It’s not that cheap also. There was a waitress/maybe the supervisor that was really rude not even looking at you when you talk to her. We ordered by scanning the QR code special items, after 45 minutes of begging all the waiters to look why it didn’t arrive, we just decided to leave, still hungry. Food was ok, some really good and some mid.

    Very pretty decoration, love the fact that you get to choose plates infront of you. Service was kinda slow but it wasn’t the waiters fault, the restaurant was just saturated, therefore some complaints regarding time reservations not being respected!

    The people were very nice! The food was ok, I would say "japanese fast food", the service was not always there, we had to get up to get drinks because no one showed up for a while, and the restaurant was not full.

    It seem that Matsuri Bac spent more time on the interior/concept space rather than the food they serve. I found that the rice was hard and dry on most of the “sushi” (if that’s what they call them)...just like the nori and sesame most wrapped with felt too thick and hard. Most of the “sushi” have mayonnaise on them so you won’t taste any of the fish…let alone the freshness. Great space, great staffs…..but I’ll go somewhere for the food.

    Very crowded shoulder to shoulder seating. Woman further up on the conveyor belt was sick and constantly coughing towards and on the food that was passing by towards us and the rest of the restaurant. Service was very slow, maybe they were understaffed, had a reservation but had to wait 10-15 minutes anyways. Food was good but portions were overpriced. My partner got the flu two days after, possibly from the woman coughing all over the food.

    We had a wonderful last night in Paris! No problem getting in with all our bags 😅 and then the experience just got better and better! We had never been in a sushi bar, so the concept was new to us, but we quickly got the hang of it and started devouring dish after dish - especially because we had 50% off so we were determined to make the most of it. As a vegan I found a couple suitable options, and had some mango for dessert as well. Finally, we had a little chat with the employees about our travel plans, left a tip (remember to tip your servers😉), and got some little presents from the manager! Such a memorable night! Would absolutely recommend going here during your stay in Paris :)

    Nice Matsuri and fresh sushis. Hot food on order only so it comes hot. I regret the fact that menu with hot food through a QR code.
