Thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness. The restaurant and the food was top tier. My primo and secondi was delicious! The paperdelle with wild boar ragu was excellent- I could have wanted another serving but got the ossobuco with porcini mushrooms which was equally exquisite. The staff were very attentive. It was my birthday and totally forgot about it as I booked this dinner weeks ago. But they remembered, sang me a birthday song and gave me the loveliest tiramisu and limoncello. Thank you Matto Matto team. Will definitely come back not alone next time I visit Firenze again. Thank you for making my day extra special.

Food and wine were fantastic, would definitely go again. Server was a bit rude, I tried ordering in Italian and he just said “I don’t understand”, so I apologized and ordered in English. He then only would ask my husband how everything was going (I am female). A group next to me also tried to order in Italian and he said “I dont understand you” then repeated their order back in English accurately… We complimented the food as we were paying and he didn’t acknowledge us at all, just stared away. Maybe not so friendly service for tourists but delicious food.

We had dinner at Matt’s Matt’s for our last night in Florence. Everything was delicious - favorite meal of the trip! I had the lasagna and it might’ve been the best lasagna I’ve ever had. My husband had the filet and it was perfectly cooked. We also ordered a side of the roasted potatoes - fantastic and perfectly flavored.

Really friendly and helpful staff, although we ordered a pasta dish to share and then second mains however my wife's second main arrived at same time as pasta which was disappointing that they didn't get that right considering it was a special birthday occasion. Otherwise the food was all as expected, really well presented and tasty. The mix up would not stop me recommending to others as everything else was excellent.

The presentation and quality of the 4 Seasons pizza - now I understand the meaning of autumn winter spring summer - the circle of the year in four quarters! Mushrooms, meat, artichoke and black olives. Matto Matto the Magnificent!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly and fast. We loved the small restaurant charm and the food was amazing! We had the ravioli, carbonara, lasagna and pizza and nothing disappointed us. After a week of dining in Florence, we agreed this was our favorite restaurant and the price was very affordable.

Very good restaurant in Florence offering an excellent selection of various dishes. This is a great place to bring people with varying food tastes. From their excellent pizza to their pastas to their more Florentine traditional dishes like Florentine steak or Osso Buco, this place hits all of the right marks. We were even treated to a glass of limoncello after dinner. Service was very good and friendly. Next time I’d like to try their homemade lasagna
