The food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly and fast. We loved the small restaurant charm and the food was amazing! We had the ravioli, carbonara, lasagna and pizza and nothing disappointed us. After a week of dining in Florence, we agreed this was our favorite restaurant and the price was very affordable.

Very good restaurant in Florence offering an excellent selection of various dishes. This is a great place to bring people with varying food tastes. From their excellent pizza to their pastas to their more Florentine traditional dishes like Florentine steak or Osso Buco, this place hits all of the right marks. We were even treated to a glass of limoncello after dinner. Service was very good and friendly. Next time I’d like to try their homemade lasagna

Matto Matto greatly exceeded my expectations. The quality of the food was among the best I have had in Florence, which is a very high bar. The ambiance is very familiar and not fussy, as I could see the entire kitchen from our table. I noticed that everything was made fresh from scratch, even the delicious bread that came straight out of the oven. The service was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return.

We went here for my boyfriends birthday. He had steak and I had the spaghetti with clams. Both were very good. The spaghetti was also very tasteful, better than we had at other places. Also got some limoncello on the house. Thanks!

We ordered two Pizza prosciutto e funghi pizzas, expecting from the price that they would be small, personal size, perhaps 6"-7". They were large and absolutely delicious! Service was friendly and prompt. Warmly recommended.

Food was nice, lovely restaurant in terms of decor. The waiter we had was extremely rude. On ordering our pizzas, we wanted to change the toppings slightly. Instead of simply saying they couldn’t do that, he showed a great deal of annoyance that he had to communicate our changes to the kitchen. Also each time we asked for something like a missing fork, or bottle of olive oil, in annoyance, he very rudely said he will bring everything in one go. He made us feel bad for asking for anything! I would not recommend based on our interaction with the waiter.
