8.5/10Our visit was menorable because the cook was asking “who are this guests” in dialect when we entered 5 min before opening. The service was perfect by our waitress and the food was very good.

10/10Exceptional dining experience at Mazzè! It’s some of the best food we’ve had in the many years we’ve visited Rome, accompanied by outstanding service. It all came together for a magical Roman night on their cozy terrace, nestled along a typical Roman side street. Sharing this experience with a dear friend, enjoying delicious food and amazing wine, made it truly special. Our server, Giovanni, was exceptional—very friendly and made us feel like honored guests. We started with the eggplant, which was unbelievable, followed by the Ossobuco and the grilled octopus. Each dish was delicious. We ended the meal with the best tiramisu we’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. We will definitely be returning to this incredible find that hits all the right notes: service, food, and ambiance!

7/10Seemed like it was their first day opening the restaurant. Good wine recommendation. Had to ask for silverware after they delivered first course. Brought the wine bottle to the table but forgot to open it. Okay food quality for Rome. Other big cities in the world have better food but you do pay a bigger price for it.

9/10I really enjoyed this restaurant. The ravioli with ricotta, spinach and sage was very tasty. The grilled danish tenderloin was cooked right to my specifications and was so tender. I could have even had another; it was that good. I topped off the evening with a delicious pistachio parfait with raspberry sauce. My wife enjoyed her lasagna and the codfish cakes she had as well. I definitely recommend this place.

9/10Our family of five booked Mazzè for our last dinner in Italy. The food was delicious with the Fried Artichoke (giudia style), and Pepe e Cacio standing out. The service was friendly, well-paced and attentive. The music track from 90s and 2000s set a good vibe. Nice house wine by the glass for only 5 euros. Excellent all around, and a nice surprise so close to the tourist traps of Trevi.

5/10I chose this place based on positive reviews but we have had much better food in Rome. The service and ambiance were ok but not wonderful. I wouldn’t recommend given the other choices available.

5.5/10Just two minutes walk from our hotel, we were looking forward to a pleasant evening with food food. Waiters were grumpy, had to ask for wine list. Husband had the pasta with creamy truffle sauce which was overly rich and warm not hot. My veal was not what I expected and the broccoli as a side dish was over cooked. We were seated way too close to the table beside us - less than a foot and the passing door traffic if people with bags etc was rather disruptive to the ambience of the meal. We should have sat inside. One positive side, the house wines were drinkable. Overall, though this restaurant has a good rating, it did not live up to our expectations.
