The linguine à la Vongole was toooooo salty

Nous prenons bonne note pour le sel dans les linguine ; notre chef va rectifier le tir pour que vos prochaines pasta près de la Tour Eiffel soient un vrai sans-faute. Service was poor - told no tables, but then booked a table online for 10 minutes later and seated right away.

I unfortunately do not remember catching the name of the server on 6 July, but he was fantastic. I never saw him slow down or break a sweat. The dining room was full and he was serving every table. At the same time, when he took your order he seemed like he had all the time in the world and gave wonderful recommendations. The rest of the staff were wonderfully supportive and hardworking but he was the star of the show.

Small and chic restaurant, very good food at reasonable price for the area,guarded by the street noise. Tables a bit small but necessary, to be able to accommodate many people.

Service was slow and inconsistent. I ordered a second drink and never received it. My pasta came to me cold. Wasn’t impressed.

Food was cold. After giving a hint about the cold food, they didn't apologize, just reheated it. All in all staff was unfriendly and ignoring us. Didn't know about our reservation. Got bumped into by stuff multiple times without apologizing. Food was good and of high quality, but nothing special. Amount was on the small side.

We were given the English menu which wad basic compared to the Italian menu. The most disappointing bit is even though I am Italian but English speaking they insisted we had the English menu. They said no cocktails even though a table near us had them. The main server/manager was rude and did not pay us any attention, he only engaged with one table that was French or possibly a local. We could’ve had a good evening there and spent money if they had made up feel comfortable. Instead we only ordered a main and went elsewhere.

Very poor experience. Taking into account Google rating which says 4.8, this restaurant is no more than 4.2. Yesterday was full of chaos. Short of staff on the 14th in Paris? Cmon. We made a reservation and came from a different country. We had a 15 years anniversary, mentioned in comment, but obviously nobody cared about it. They did not have the wine which we ordered, the food arrived and we still did not have our drinks, the secondi came and they could not bring cutlery for my wife, no water which we ordered, no music in the restaurant, no attention from the staff just running in chaos. On such a special day if you are taking reservations, you should be prepared better and not running a business like a headless chicken. Sad experience and average food, overcooked, undercooked.

The owner was very kind and did everything to make us feel special. The only thing to say was the starter. We ordered a carpaccio of beef and on the menu it says “with cherry tomatoes, and grana padano”. We ended up with pickles onions and carrots on it but no grana padano which killed our carpaccio. The pasta was good though.
