7/10The music was wonderful, as were the tapas and wine. The entree choices, however, did not match the descriptions on the menu and the servings we got were not adequate for a typical dinner -- not filling enough for two young men, my grandsons -- puny, skinny steaks. Unlike the menu description, only two desserts were offered -- chocolate mousse and a "Portuguese dessert" not even on the menu. That turned out to be raw egg on a plate with orange peels and cinnamon stirred in. I suspect that they ran out of food and made something up. Maybe some natives consider that a treat, but they should have described it to us.

5.5/10An appalling rip-off! I really didn´t want to believe the reviews, but now I understand them. For almost $70 each, six tables of us were stashed at tables on an upstairs balcony where most people couldn´t see any of the performers. We made the best of this, taking turns allowing others to alternate the 2-3 seats where they could actually see something. Mostly, people hung out with each other, since they could not enjoy the show. And, this is really too bad! The setting in the old chapel of a palace is unique. The fado singers and musicians top notch. Food was fine. My husband and I adore fado, returned to Lisbon for this purpose. We´ve probably seen 25 performances in the past three years, but charging people this amount of money and then stashing them in the back of a balcony is just unconscionable. At the very least, they need to offer substantially reduced-priced seats for people you treated this way. As many things as I liked about this venue, we will never come back.

10/10A wonderful evening. We had a very attentive server. He kept our wine glasses full, brought us extra olives from the appetizers (yummy). The meal and dessert were very good. My sister had steak and I had pork ribs. The Fado music was exceptional. There were 2 guitar players and 3 singers. All were very talented singers.

6.5/10Music and ambiance were lovely and authentic. Food was good, solid choices for a limited menu and simply prepared. Not gourmet but perfectly nice experience to be introduced to Fado.

5.5/10The place is what I expected as for atmosphere and of course, the fado singers. But, the food was awful… basically, I didn’t eat it. Everything was served cold, There were string beans deep fried … thick breaded and cold. Inedible. My fish was also cold and tasteless. If you go only for the singers it would be fine, but at 65 euro per person, there may be other fado spots where you either don’t have to eat or the food is better. They also let people in who aren’t eating and they stand behind your table. I think they know to just arrive late for the music.

10/10Very good evening. The musicians are very good and the ambiance is nice. The food is good too, especially the cod in the main menu. We had one issue for payment because their chip reader does not work. Fortunately there is an ATM just in front of the restaurant so it was easy to get the cash to pay.

8/10Best Fado house I have been to in Lisbon so far ! Forget about the food ! Do the late sitting if you can ! Singing starts at 10:30 then locals come in and join in - it’s 1 am now arrived at 9:30 pm and cant get enough! The atmosphere is brilliant Don’t miss this place if you come to Lisbon ! Service is top notch and the singing unforgettable.

The ambience is wonderful. The restaurant is in a converted chapel with beautiful tile walls. There is only seating for about 42 people so the experience is intimate. The servers are attentive and the food is excellent. Of course, the fado music makes the evening. With the performers only inches away from the tables it is a unique experience.

10/10Despite some not-so-good reviews, we found this a completely enjoyable experience. The waiters were attentive, the food was very good (we chose cod and bream), and the music was authentic. We were at the 9:30 pm seating and dinner was served prior to the music which started at 11:00 pm. Highly recommend!!

8.5/10The fado show is a set price of 65€. Ours started at 9:30 and the waiter said we could stay as long as we wanted (till 2am). It’s a set 3 course menu with some options and unlimited drinks, worth the price.

6/10My main course was great. My husband's was disappointing. Their card machine was not working - so we had to pay cash - one reason was that the Internet was not working - yet I could get it - trying for a cash business?? My husband commented that the guitarist was playing out of tune initially!!
