10/10We booked through The Fork and it was a very good experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is really kind. You must order online, but we preferred speaking directly with the waiter. The sangria was excellent, and so was the paella. A special thanks to Alejandro, who was super friendly, funny, and even shared his love for Italian football players with us. The value for money here is also great. Definitely a place we would recommend and happily return to!

2/10Very disappointed with the experience for a variety of reasons. On arrival, the group were ushered to use an app for the menus which some were not comfortable with doing. Then on finally being able to place the orders , the food all came out at the same time, meaning that starters and main courses were served making for a sub-optimal experience. Requests for other items such as additional drinking water, or serviettes were either ignored or very delayed. No service with a smile and no check backs at any point. The salmon salads were drowned in what tasted like ranch sauce. After looking forward to the paellas, they fell below expected standards with most going back. To finish off, the settling of the bill was not a straightforward affair for all, again with an app. On this basis, I would struggle to recommend this venue to others.

6/10The service was nice. The food was very basic. I don't know if this deserves the hype for being a fantastic paella spot. Just seemed overpriced for what it was . . . clearly designed for tourists.

9/10The pealla was very good, even thought I normally don't like the seafood. We were in the corner so we didn't get the much of the admosphere in the restaurant. The service was good even though we had a bit of a miscomminucation. The waiter was very polite. If we are going back to Barcelona we definately come back. Thank you for a nice dinner❤️ Keep up the good work.

4/10Ordering food from a QR code in the middle of the table is never a good start. There is no atmosphere. It’s like eating at MacDonald’s with rectangular paper for the plates to sit on. Food is average at best. Nothing bad but nothing that stood out as anything special. Nothing to make me want to return. and not good value in my opinion. The server was friendly though.

6/10The place is nice and the servers were too. The paella was a little dry and the seafood chewy. Sangria wasn’t the best either. Overall we were disappointed.

It was our last night in Barcelona and we were looking to experience a paella dish. Based on some research, we chose to go to Mico Maku and it did not disappoint. We knew the paella would be large, so we decided to skip appetizers. The restaurant provided a nice, small bowl of olives on the house. My wife order the seafood paella and I ordered the black rice paella, essentially the seafood paella with squid ink. Paella's take about 35 minutes to prepare. Both paella's came out steaming hot and were flavorful. We enjoyed them immensely. Alejandro, our waiter, told us that they happen to be the two most popular paella's ordered. We ordered the house wines (white and red) and they were very good. Alejandro was an attentive server and we appreciated his knowledge of the menu. We also enjoyed the energy of restaurant. We recommend checking it out if you are in Barcelona.

10/10The paella was the best we had out of the 5 different paella we had throughout our trip in Barcelona. We are glad that when we made the order from the app, it has a column to fill up remarks and we requested it to be less salty, and they followed our request and gave us our best tasty paella. Mind you, its 2 petite sized asian ladies downing 2 different paellas! not even a grain left behind. We had the seafood paella and squid ink and it was deliciosa! especially the creamy sauce that came with the squid ink!

7.5/10Micu Maku was not what we expected. When we first sat down at the (quite basic) table and found that we needed to order our food and drinks on an App, we were concerned that we might have chosen badly. Thankfully, we were mistaken. The food and drinks (especially the Sangria Tinto) were good, and the service was quick, efficient and friendly. Overall, a pleasant experience.

7/10Food and drinks were good but service was somewhat disappointing as staff members dined know much English and was sort of brushing us off. Not much of an explanation what is the prcess of ordering so it left us confused.

4.5/10The paella was good but overpriced (26 Euros per person). It was more expensive than a nice restaurant. You order food on your phone on your own and it is not a restaurant with a table cloth or any service which is why its price for paella was incomprehensible.

10/10the food was fantastic my wife had the vegetable paella and I had the seafood and noodles with sangria to drink and calamari to start, was probably our fav meal so far. the service is prompt but you order through an app which we thought was great.

Food was very good, no question about that. Service can be improved. Made a booking reservation at 4:30pm and arrived at the restaurant 10mins early. It was not crowded at all with only 1 table occupied. But the person who received us gave us a seat infront of the bar where everyone was walking by. Quite uncomfortable when there is a lot of seats in the inner part of the restaurant. Aside from that, everytihng was great.
