+1We sat at one of the chef’s tables and in addition to enjoying course after course of delicious food, we also had front row seats to watching a well-trained, efficient crew of sous chefs politely, respectfully responding to an equally respectful boss in chef Florent POULARD. Meticulous, clean, knowledgeable organized, efficient team from kitchen to servers +++. Chef Florent even served us a few courses, explaining with pride and detail what was so elegantly plated for presentation as much as taste. The oysters were fresh and delightful. Mullet fish perfectly cooked and accompanied by several sauces that when combined were a treat to the palate. Duck was exquisite and so tender. Chicken ravioli and sweet onion soup were SOOO good and left us wanting more of the same please!! Several deserts all exceptional. Pricing for the 7-course meal was reasonable at about 90-100€ per person. Highly recommend this stop on your visit to Lyon ❤️

+1Chef Florent Poulard serves modern French with no gimmicks. The service, dishes are prepared with precision and soul. The service staff were all very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant. Chef also built a cellar of 8,000+ bottles of wines since opening 7 years ago — a collection as disciplined and alive as his cooking. We ordered the degustation menu, and a gorgeous bottle of Gevrey Chambertin. The dishes were impeccable.

+5Had the opportunity to eat at Monsieur P’s!! What a delightful experience. Have to say probably the best French Michelin star restaurant I’ve eaten in a very long time! Well worth it and the Prix Fixe meal is worth the price. Honestly it’s relatively cheap for a one star Michelin restaurant.. I’d also get the wine paring for an extra 60 euros.

10/10The restaurant Monsieur P was a delight in every way. Each course was beautifully presented and had included unusual ingredients that served to enhance the flavors of the familiar. Wines offered by the glass were varied and delicious, service friendly and attentive but not overly so. All in all, it was a wonderful evening in Lyon

10/10I was in Lyon with my daugther and spouse and all of us enjoyed a lot the experience thanks to the esquisit atmosphere, the superb service and a french-terroir recipes and wines. Good quality/price relation. Really worth the dinner.

10/10The food here was absolutely top quality along with highly professional service as you would expect from a Michelin Guide establishment, but the big surprise is the cellar. A wine list that takes a good 30 minutes to work through with 9000 bottles in a cellar, all cheaper than anywhere else we had been in Lyon. The chef / patron has an incredible attitude to how he wants to share his craft, and look after a talented brigade. The restaurant doesn’t open at the weekend and he chooses to price the wine at a price point that he knows will encourage more diners to try different wines. It was a fantastic evening.

9.5/10We had a wonderful meal at Mondieur P. There was flexibility for one person to have the experience menu with paired wines and the other to have a la carte. A good variety of wines available by the glass, with the option to taste before ordering. Friendly, efficient staff who worked around our limited French.

10/10My husband Jerry and I were seated at the Chef's table. It was an unexpected surprise and joy! We loved watching Chef Florent Poulard create the absolutely delicious food we savoured. No one should miss this dining experience. It was fantastic!!! I would not be surprised if this restaurant earns a Michelin Star immediately!

10/10Delicious food. Excellent service. The staff were extremely knowledgable and helpful - we thoroughly enjoyed our evening! One member of the party has Coeliac Disease (no gluten). Every effort was made to accommodate the food allergy.

10/10The new location of Monsieur P is fabulous , on the place des Célestins in a beautiful building, Décor inside is well design mixing modern and old , very classy with beautiful antiques tables . We got greeted with a smile and brought to our table which was situated on the second floor. The sommelier was excellent and very knowledgeable , guiding us to local and small producers from the region, and not pushing for the most expensive wine . Food was excellent, we started by a airy Zucchini foam with a goat cheese, Lemon ice cream, Then 3 Appetizers One Oysters , shallots sorbet, Kale and à gelée d’huître, absolutely delicious, great balance of texture and flavors Rabbit loin Rillettes, picked onions, white beets , Mustard sabayon. Chanterelles, celery root , Elephant Garlic , superbe flavor Cod with eggplant purée, zucchini, gremolata of kalamata olives , shallots Quasi de veau and paleron with Fregola Sarda , heirloom tomatoes . Toast of bone marrow Beef tenderloin from the rotisserie, with gnocchi, Artichoke poivrade, shallots griselles, jus naturel Dessert , Peach , Apricot Ginger Chocolate and Tonka fève Petits fours Dessert are the weak part of the menu but this is a must if you visit Lyon, I’ll highly recommend it . A restaurant with a young chef with a great future in front of him . Bravo to the entire Team of Monsieur P ! ????????????????????????????????

10/10Referred here by a friend from the USA. We enjoyed our meal in this intimate setting. The service is professional and friendly; the staff well educated about food and wine. To say the least the food was excellent and well presented. Thank you for a lovely experience in fine cuisine in Lyon!
