Had a terrible experience. Abysmal service. Not just rude. There was a short haired woman — maybe she owns the restaurant? — who displayed some truly unacceptable behavior. She kept calling people names, laughing in guest's faces when they'd try to ask questions. She was openly hostile to my wife and I, as well as other patrons. Why would you do this to people who have come to enjoy a meal at your restaurant? It was bizarre. The food was poor. The service was poor. The decor was filthy. It's down an ally street covered in graffiti and garbage. Avoid at all costs.
MonsùI’m very sad to read this review. Above all that happened never is happened before. The woman you talk about is not the owner, but the room director. Usually she’s very kind and has a quiet and good behaviour either way anyone, costumers and colleagues. And is first time that someone writes all this bad things about her and all the restaurant. I’m very sorry that your experience was so negative and poor, but I cannot accept that food was poor! I can understand that your mind disposition was not good because of the waitress, but about our food you can tell anything but not that’s poor! We put lot of care and energies and we spent all our time into the restaurant to give our guests a good experience, as you can read from the others reviews. So, please, apologize our lady of the room because that was a very bad day for her….try to come again, I’ll be very happy to have you in Monsù!

Monsu does traditional Neapolitan cuisine well, and the staff are terrific. The tomato sauce and the Ragu were the best I tasted in Naples.

Great friendly service and fantastic food. Was lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by immersing yourself in great Naples culture. The servers there really helped us with allergies and recommendations

Seemed to bother the owner upon arrival to be seated. There was only one server on the evening we were there, he def did his best but could have used assistance. One meal was delicious the other ok.

What a lovely little restaurant. Great service, tasty food and perfect for the gluten free members of the group

Nice restaurant on a side street. Good outdoor seating. Appetizers, wine and dessert were good. The swordfish was a nice very thin cut, which was unusual for swordfish as I’ve had it many many times in the past and it was always a thick cut. The problem is, it was little dry and had no flavor. So avoid the swordfish.

The food was OK but I waited 45 minutes for my Pasta dish despite being one of the only customers.

Really nice dinner, food was excellent. Met our expectations and recommended, service was good though place was a bit under staffed given Saturday night.

Great main course. I had the Genovese and my husband had the Ragu both of which were great. The salads were very fresh. My only disappointment was the choice of desserts, but every restaurant has their own specialties, and their's just wasn't to my taste.

A lovely meal with a charming waiter. Perfectly cooked eggplant parmigiana as good as it comes. Best to dine outside weather permitting.

We ordered two plates of pasta. One with potatoes and cheese which tasted just like mac n’cheese right from the microwave and a pasta with octopus inwhich i found a piece of plastic strap. Clearly selling instant food for the price of freshly made pasta. I wondered if the tourists that made all those nice evaluations actually ever ate a plate of real pasta.
