7.5/10We were very happy that the restaurant stayed open for our visit - the other patrons had cancelled, and we were the only diners present. The service and presentation were both excellent - the staff were friendly and did an excellent job. The restaurant surprised us with a small additional dessert for our occasion, which was extremely nice of them. However we found the food to be disappointing - two of the dishes (the eel and the john dory) did not mesh, and the flavours were conflicting and/or overpowering for what the chef was trying to achieve. We were unaware that sweetmeats were on the menu, and whilst this does not bother me, my partner does not eat offal at all. The wine was excellent, and - for the most part - paired well with the food. Overall, it was a little disappointing.

8.5/10The restaurant is really small, only four tables, but it is quite nice. It is a bit difficult to find as the outside signage is not very large or clearly visible. Trust the GPS directions and you will be fine. The prix fixe only menu is rather interesting and quite creative. Presentation is nice and the service is outstanding. Very good wine menu.

9.5/10The restaurant is located in an ancient building renovated to show off the timber painted white to go with the modern interior. The food is very light, with a lot of different greens and flowers. The amuse bouche starts with a cream of celery and pear, topped with roasted hazelnuts and melisse. The cuttlefish with green beans and asparagus, topped with a beautiful flower and herb salad with greek yogurt and hibiscus vinaigrette was a delight. In spite of the name, the food is modern French, not Japanese. The creativity and presentation are aspiring for more than one Michelin star.

2/10Very disappointing lunch. They cannot even clean the cups. The flavor is also mediocre and I cannot finish most of them due to so-so seasoning. Not recommend at all.

10/10Highly recommend! The service was amazing and the food was incredible. The presentation and food combinations were delightful. It's a small restaurant that creates an intimate and zen atmosphere that create an enjoyable environment to try some of the best food. The chef's combos are incredible.

10/10The food, wine list and service were top class. It was the best meal (lunch) we had on this trip to Paris. The amuse bouche was artistically place placed in a wooden box with seasonal elements. The first starter of a seafood/dashi consommé with a slice of daikon was a gentle and satisfying start to the meal. The second starter with contrasting textures - soft and sweet (celery and apple)and the other morsel was crispy ( olive wafer)and salty and of the sea (sardine) was elegant. The foie gras cigars wrapped in ham with various refine condiments and carrot dust was excellent. The fish (John Dory) and the meat course (horse or duck) were just cooked au point with just the right sauce/jus to complement the meat. The two desserts finished the meal on a high with inventive use of ingredients (a cocktail sized piece of baked lemon). The service was polite, helpful and professional and the two organic wines suggested were enjoyed by all. A lovely memory and experience of Paris.

10/10Excellent all around. Opted for the white truffle on the fish and the Miyazaki wagyu for the meat course, well worth the additional cost. The food was superb, the best meal I’ve had on this trip. Service was great as well, a bit business like and very professional. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in Paris.

10/10Very interesting experience. It deserves you to come and try. I chose 3 courses, waiter recommended a good wine. Start with foie gras, chef uses Japanese element to neutralise oily feeling; main course is horse fillet, pretty good, no strange smell and taste, very delicious; end with one Japanese style dessert, I like it.

10/10Fantastic experience, The chef is an artist and there was attention to each detail. The complete menu seems to be a lot of food, but each one was so light, well prepared and nicely harmonized that it makes you curious about the next. Elegant, delicious and inspiring... a place to come back ! Congratulations to chef Nakatani !!

10/10The dishes are surprisingly innovative and tasty. Chef Nakatani is very talented in using seasonal products to create his original dishes. Service was also superb. The waiter and waitress were friendly and welcoming. They knew the dishes well and provided good recommendations on wine. I also love the Japanese minimalist and simplistic decoration of the restaurant. Would recommend it to everyone who happens to be in Paris.

10/10My dining companion and I felt so lucky to get a table at the last minute. The food and the service were lovely. I really appreciated the detailed explanations of the matched wines in English. I like to try new things and felt I learned quite a bit. A couple of the dishes were so delicious (duck breast, then later, the pear sorbet) they wiped my mind of the others.
