9.5/10Our second visit. Just like the first time, the food was flavourful and well presented. The service was efficient and the staff were friendly and had time to chat despite the busy evening. Will definitely return.

2.5/10The food was extremely mediocre. Nothing fresh at all. Already prepared food sitting for a long time. arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. Sushi was hard and difficult to chew. Will not revisit.

9.5/10Food is fantastic! Sushi is absolute work of art. We tried the course menu, they have 3,4 or 5 courses. We took the 5 courses, which includes desert. I recommend skipping desert as it's pretty boring and not worth it (fruit and generic not homemade ice-cream). But the rest is just amazing, will definitely return for more sushi. Unique flavor and perfect combination of textures.

6.5/10The food is really good. Good temperature. To much soja sauce in the salad and to much sauce at the most food. But overall I think this could become one of the best Japanese restaurants. It looks like Mchi (more fusion) which is a little cheaper and the taste and atmosphere there is better. This food was maybe better but the sauce and extra ingredients made the food not better. We come back for sure but I hope they will not add too much sauce and ingredients. Give the guests the possibility to add this.

10/10We had a blast at the restaurant! The service is great, and the food is awesome. The quality of the sushi, especially, is impressive. I loved being greeted with towels and thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese plum wine. This restaurant is definitely going on my hidden gem list, and I’ll be going back for sure. They were very considerate about my requests too. Loved it.

9.5/10Fourth time in this restaurant in 2 years. The service and food quality are solidly superb. The menu is extensive, the food gets out quickly, the presentation is sophisticated and the taste excellent. The atmosphere is elegant, the staff is pleasant and speaks perfect English. The only less positive point is that the noise level can be high

10/10Outstanding Japanese restaurant. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and very helpful. They provided some great advice regarding their menu and as each course was presented, they explained what was on the plate and even advised on what order to eat everything. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The restaurant was also well decorated and comfortable and created an enjoyable ambience that suited the great food and service. I would definitely recommend. For international travellers, the staff also spoke excellent English.

10/10+1Mr. Lam and his team have done a fantastic job of serving the customers from start to finish. Friendly greeting, quick service, cozy ambience, pretty plating, delicious food, plenty of libations. 1 beer, three glasses of resiling, miso soup, karaage fried chicken, 2x crispy duck wraps, gyoza, shrimp tempura, kimchi chicken, fried noodles, cheese cake. All yummy and just €125. We had a wonderful dining experience and yes. Thank you for having us :) will return and will recommend. Keep up the great work.

10/10I ordered a Mojito and they didn’t have the ingredients. That was the only flaw in the entire experience. Service, food & ambiance was worth the visit.

9.5/10Exceptionally good food. Superb sushi, tempura, meat and fish dishes. It’s a bit pricey but but definitely not overpriced considering the quality of the food. A small gem in Amsterdam.

10/10We had an amazing dinner with lovely service and a beautiful atmosphere. The sushi was the best we ever had. Our favourite was the ebi tower and the pumpkin sushi (vegetarian sushi are not on the menu). Thank you so much!

8/10Gluten-free sushi options available although only a few staff members were able to inform us about gluten content. No separate gluten-free menu. Very nice to see Toro on the menu, it was a real pity that it was not prepared correctly,
