Very attentive and helpful service on arrival. However there was a long delay between starter clearance and main course service and food felt it had been sitting awaiting service. However it was very tasty. After clearance of main course we felt we were effectively abandoned. After a long delay we had to ask for the sweet menu and when that was ordered - an ice cream selection - it took nearly 20 mins to arrive. Tables that had arrived after we had ordered our starter were finished and away before us. Not a good experience.

I am Italian and tested the carbonara, which is a good testing point. And it passed the test!!! Also the ice cream was really good.

The food is prepared to order and top quality. The service is warm, personal, and attentive. The ambience can suit everything from a romantic date to a business dinner. Great Italian wine list. The tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had. I won’t even order it at other restaurants.

We have been a couple of times to the restaurant and every time is excellent. Today special was absolutely fantastic and as always the staff is very polite and proactive. It is our favorite restaurant in the Hague.

We did not have any complaint from you or other guests yesterday. Not sure why you felt a lack of attention...our restaurant is not the place where you usually experience this, we are very dedicated to our guests with passion and recommendations.

Excellent food (especially the truffle pasta), wine, service and ambiance as usual. We received an extremely warm welcome by all of Barbara and Carmine’s staff.

From the outside it looks like a nice, cosy restaurant. The staff was very friendly but the food was just really really bad in all aspects. Quality wise and price wise. The food was not fresh, no taste. The cooked and the raw ham was already turning white and had an old taste. You can't tell me they cut that freshly back there in the kitchen. The menu is outdated, as well as the music on the background. But these are small things compared to the lack of taste. Just because you are Italian does not mean that you are a chef or can cook.

The food here tastes so good, authentic, home made, words don’t adequately describe how good the food is. The tiramisu is a must, the story on their recipe needs to be heard and beyond that the taste is superb .

It was very nice. Good wine selection and very nice staff. Very authentic and great atmosphere. The chef came to our table for the tiramisu. If you're looking for a authentic Italian/sicilian place this is the place to be.

Lovely local Italian we regularly visit because we love the food, ambiance and friendliness of Carmine, Barbara and their team. The tagliolini Al tartufo is to die for!
