I really enjoyed the “surprise” seven course lunch in which I did not know what dishes were coming in advance ( I chose that option before the meal)…. each dish had vibrant flavors and contrasts of texture flavor, tartness and richness, and the contrasts were what made the meal very special. All the elements of classic French cuisine were there in terms of the care with the sauces and the quality of the ingredients….for example the perfectly prepared duck breast. But also modern touches like foams and creative use of caviar. But the element of surprise was paramount I would love to return for the 11 course dinner.

Fine dining, strongly influenced by the culinary developments in Spain. Small bites, beautifully crafted with eye for detail. More a food experience than a social event in a rather clean and modern setting. Very expensive.

This meal was fascinating, delightful, Mr. Sanchez's cuisine is unique. The tasting menu was filled with the natural flavors of the sea, the meadow, and the forest and was full of unexpected counterpoints and resonances.. Each dish was delicious and surprising. Each dish was plated beautifully. The wine pairing was more than up to the task of complimenting each dish. The entire experience was wonderful and enormous fun. The service was very gracious and very warm. We were very grateful for the effort made to translate the explanation of each dish to english, as our French is rudimentary, and the explanations of the dishes are important for full appreciation. We are so glad to have had this meal!

The service was excellent. The foods were mostly good except the abalone - it was just too chewy unfortunately.
