Incredible experience. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. For such a beautiful hyper modern setting it’s amazing they are able to cultivate a warm homely atmosphere. The waiters were brilliant. Attentive, knowledgeable, charming. The food was spot on! We had the tasting menu. We had the best salmon we’ve ever eaten! The only dish we didn’t find amazing was the octopus. It was also a birthday dinner for my wife and they were so lovely with us. They gave us two free glasses of desert wine to top off the occasion. We ended up staying in the restaurant for over 3 hours! I think that is a very good sign.

We visit Nexe every year when in the neighborhood and the new menu is excellent. We were a party of eight with starters and main courses and there was not one disappointment at the table. Highly recommended.

The food and service at Nexe are excellent but it was very quiet on a Friday evening. There was also an odd chemical smell at the rear of the restaurant noted by a few of our group. Overall very good but I had expected a busier more buzzing ambience.

The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They clearly shared a common passion for showcasing the local ingredients and the restaurants approach to food. The tasting menu showcased the region and terroir and the love with which it was prepared shone through. The wine list was thoughtful, reasonably priced, and showcased the local vineyards well.

Perfectly balanced dishes. We ordered the lamb, canelone, cebiche and ribs along with a cheese board and they were all deliciously prepared. The cheese board, canelone and the lamb were our favorites but everything was excellent. Our server patiently translated every dish in detail and made sure we had a great time. Thank you!

There is something up with the ventilation system in this place- it smells of raw sewage where we were sitting. We asked to switch tables and it was a bit better but the smell was still there. The watched the person making the appetizers lick the spoon after she was done making the dish- is this normal?! If you’re visible to your customers I feel that this is very wrong. The food was fine, nothing super exciting. Service was fine as well but nothing out of the ordinary.

None of the 6 people in my group were 100% satisfied. I sent back the Thai sashimi, one of us had the paella quite bad and sad langostine. Scallops were covered in some egg yoke, and I could go on. Sea bass was fine, so was the steak and tuna sashimi but how hard is it really to serve up sashimi and a steak
