We had a lovely meal at NICE Gastrobar, the food was excellent and the service was friendly. Really enjoyed the Ceviche and the scallops and the mix of Asian flavours in the dishes worked really well.

Sea food, carpaccio and ceviche were great but not impressed with the mains. I believe the set up of the kitchen does not really allow for "hot" dishes. I would definitely go back for the cold platters. Service is very nice and the place is cute-old fish mongers style.

Our group was the first seated for the night so service was relatively quick but it was a two-man operation, one taking orders and serving food and the other making food. I imagine as the night got busier service got slower. We were concerned at first because there were many small flies lingering around the table, but they didn't bother us for most of the night. The food was tasty and we enjoyed the fish filet and octopus with potatoes the most, but portions were very small for the price and the fish soup was particularly fishy.

The fish and seafood are fresh and delicately prepared. Those who don’t eat meat like myself, would be delighted to discover there is a variety of choices on the menu. After a three course meal I still felt light on my way home. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going back.
