We r coming from Malawi in Africa re minded me of the taste of Japan. It was Happy time.

Nodaiwa is a high-end eel specialty store that competes for the first place in Japan. However, there is no sense of luxury in the Paris store. It looks like a bistro. For those who know the taste of Japan well, the taste of Paris stores is unfortunately bad. The miso soup is thin because the broth is not effective. I hope the Paris store will do its best on a more high-end route.

Excellent and authentique Japanese restaurant on rue Saint Honoré that serves delicious grilled unagi eel meals. The service is impeccable and the food A+.

Service was great. i could practice a bit my japanese with them. The products were high quality (real japanese rice and delicious うなぎ). also i appreciated the large choice of japanese saké and the fact they respect at which température to drink them case by case. some were to be cold, other chamber and other hot.

Very nice place with tasty eel. It has long history and they send chefs to Japan to study how to cook eel.

The environment is very good and the service also, and the food is delicious!

The eel is very dry compared to what we are used to in top Japanese restaurants. Maybe it is because it is less processed than what we are usually served. But nevertheless it is a disappointment. The eel sushi dish are big rice cubes with a little slices of dry eel on top. Otherwise nice place and good service.

We were warmly welcomed despite coming earlier than booking time. The eel dish was delicious as usual. The green tea was excellent.

Every time I visit Paris, I go to Nodaïwa either for lunch or dinner. This trip we went twice and I introduced the restaurant to my friend. The food and service are so great and we can’t wait to go back.

The gentleman at the reception does not welcome in a good mood, so not friendly from the entrance... He was very impatient and rolled his eyes when I initially got the wrong name on the reservation and was trying very hard to find it through email nervously. In conclusion even if the dish is good I don't want to come back. There are many places to eat in Paris, so travelers are advised not to come here and ruin the pleasant mood of traveling.
