The eel is very dry compared to what we are used to in top Japanese restaurants. Maybe it is because it is less processed than what we are usually served. But nevertheless it is a disappointment. The eel sushi dish are big rice cubes with a little slices of dry eel on top. Otherwise nice place and good service.

Every time I visit Paris, I go to Nodaïwa either for lunch or dinner. This trip we went twice and I introduced the restaurant to my friend. The food and service are so great and we can’t wait to go back.

The gentleman at the reception does not welcome in a good mood, so not friendly from the entrance... He was very impatient and rolled his eyes when I initially got the wrong name on the reservation and was trying very hard to find it through email nervously. In conclusion even if the dish is good I don't want to come back. There are many places to eat in Paris, so travelers are advised not to come here and ruin the pleasant mood of traveling.

The food tastes fine but I don't think it's authentic Japanese enough. The staff is nice, but they somewhat rushed us to leave by giving us the bill when we were still on our last bite of food. However, I observed that no one was queuing up at that moment. Overall experience was OK but please do not expect you can get the level of service or authentic Japanese unagi dishes as you would in Japan.
