10/10Tracy, an ex-pat from the U.S., welcomed us to the restaurant and gave us a delightful window seat with a view of the hills of Assisi. She answered our questions and even made a few recommendations when we were stuck between options. The food was delicious and wine options plentiful. Dessert was equally divine and the overall experience was tremendous. And the chef even took time to say goodbye as we left the restaurant! We'll definitely visit again!

10/10We love Nonna Nini. The food is imaginative and delicious, the atmosphere is calm, the owner is generous and attentive, and we always have a truly memorable experience. Go there!

10/10What do you call a restaurant in Assisi, Italy owned by an American woman from Vermont with an Indian chef? Fantastico! Some true Italian dishes, some true Indian dishes, and a few “fusion “ dishes. All wonderful. Nice ambiance, great staff and a super wine list. Fairly priced….don’t miss it.

10/10This restaurant is a very welcoming place! The owner and the chef made us feel like family! The food was delicious and prepared perfectly! We loved our first visit and returned the next night. Both evenings were superb! Don't miss eating here!

10/10Dinner was not just an amazing meal but an amazing experience. The food was exceptional! So much so that I came back again and hope to return to try all the dishes on the menu. Many compliments to Chef Sanjeev for both meals and such friendly disposition ! And also to Traci for her vision to open such a unique restaurant as well as her amazing hospitality! I would highly recommend Nonna Nini’s!

10/10Set in the heart of Assisi the service was very good and the staff very friendly . The food was very tasty with some interesting twists. A side salad would have been a nice addition

10/10The food is a big step above that at similarly priced Assisi restaurants. Creative, fresh, absolutely delicious Italian, Indian, and Italian -Indian fusion. Warm attentive service, perfect wine pairing suggestions, and great background music. I can't wait to return!

10/10This little restaurant was a delight to find among the many mediocre restaurants one finds in a tourist town. The food was excellent! The staff were kind and prompt and knowledgeable about gluten friendly options. Both high quality Italian and a few actual Indian items were offered

9.5/10This small restaurant is a very special one. Italy meets India! Very friendly people, great service and fantastic food. As primi we had the tagliatelle verdura with indian spices, great combo. Both the biryani and polotte were very tastefull. I would recommend this place for those who like good food.

10/10What a find in Italy. Italian/Indian fusion and it really works! Truly a match made in heaven. Tracy is the owner with the vision to bring these two cuisines together. She is a fantastic host, makes you feel as part of the family. We plan to return on our next visit and will certainly return.
