We specifically arrange a time to went tk there for a lunch, but very disappointed wirh the organisation and food quality. Seating is also uncomfortable and crowded. Food are small and expensive for the size and taste. Never go again!

The food is disgusting and definitely overrated. There were many flies and I can barely get proper service. The waiter asked us to wait while chatting around several times. The food is awful. We ordered the popular dishes of the restaurant. The razor clam is very stinky and I'm worried I might get sick. This was the worst one. I cannot believe anyone would genuninely recommand this restaurant.

This was our first trip to Lisbon and O Frade came highly recommended. We had a perfect table outside where we can see the chef preparing our meal and our Waiter Alexander was lovely. He was knowledgeable about each ingredient And paired our perfect meal with the most delicious organic Ofrade. The experience was perfect! We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended

Up and coming restaurant that will leave a mark. The duck rice is the best I have ever tried and the razor clams were simple but delicious. Every dish is made individually, with care and attention to detail, and they all have a personality. A must around Belém!

The food was beautiful, creative and tasty. The staff was generally pleased that we were enjoying it. Just 4 tables outside. The rabbit and duck rice were outstanding. The cod, egg, leek foam was a marvel.

the food tastes doesn't feel amazing. The risotto is a little salty and leaves no aftertaste, but the bread is good. Maybe the expectations for the restaurant are too high. But it's fun can watch making food.

The restaurant is cosy, food is fresh, but too acidic. The service is good, friendly. However, they charged the couvert even though the waiter removed the bread from the table, they also imposed a tip amount of 10%. We will not return.

It was our second visit to the restaurant. The first experience was amazing but this one was a complete fail. Average quality of food: rabbit was too sour, squids overcooked, octopus feijoada has just 5 small pieces of octopus and again too sour. Some dishes never arrived without a reminder. From the other hand beef tartar was included in the bill despite it being cancelled by the kitchen due to "beef is not good today". And last but not least they pushed me to pay tips after all the experience without asking if I want to. It's not an obligation in Portugal but voluntary gratification.

I was so pleasantly surprised! The duck was excellent. I went to experience the Portuguese Fado but didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I highly recommend.

we had 4 appetizers and 3 main corses. Appetizers were great. the beef tartar excellent. The main corses though , left us a bit dissapointed. I personally had the risotto with duck and i found 0 flavor . The abiance and service was great.

Frade is like having a top-notch chef cooking for you at home! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is so cosy and welcoming, and the waiters and waitresses treat you like they've literally invited you over to their own home! I still have the juicy, fulsome flavours of a beautiful dinner in my mouth and the warmth of the chef and the personnel! Kudos to a wonderful restaurant with such great people! Thank you, Frade!

We sat inside at the counter. Service was good and the staff were all friendly. As we were sat at the counter we could watch the food being prepared which was fascinating. All in all I would thoroughly recommend the place to anyone

I think it’s a really good balance between something fancy and casual. The food is very nice and the staff is both professional and takes care of the guests. They could probably charge 20% more and get away with it. I would recommend this for a group of up to four. If you’re eating alone then the counter is definitely a great option. You get to observe the staff and part of the kitchen too (depending on where you sit exactly). I would recommend and go back next time I’m in Lisbon.

Thoroughly enjoyed this spot. The service was friendly and fast. You can tell all the ingredients are fresh. Everything we had was delicious and we loved being able and to sit at the bar and watch the dishes being made.

The restaurant has a great selection of wines and food. I really like how you can observe the chef adding the finishing touch of the dishes in front of you!
