Well, not really Portuguese... More like Indian serving Portuguese... And you can sense it and taste it. For tourist without knowledge about Portuguese cuisine and the Portuguese themselves this might be a good restaurant. For all the others just a conventional middle of the table restaurant.

This restaurant came recommended from the hotel around the corner. We arrived slightly early for our table and were greeted with an acceptable welcome. The ambience of the restaurant lacks character and the waiting staff are slightly lacking in charisma almost could be interpreted as don’t really care if you’re there or not. The menu offers good variety and the food was okay. The staff need to up their game. Competition is fierce in Lisbon and although the food was okay it’s not enough. The restaurant needs charm and a big injection of character you could hear a pin drop at times. Literally no noise - strange. Waiting staff need to be out going and happy. They also need to know the dishes on the menu. We wouldn’t go back sadly. It wasn’t awful but we weren’t blown away.

Excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend and if you love seafood the rice with grouper and prawns is a must try…it is exceptional.

Food was fantastic .Thought portions were spot on. Really good value around 13 euros for an excellent piece of salmon . Service was attentive and just about the right level . My steak was cooked to perfection and a delicious sauce. All five of us enjoyed our meals . Would thoroughly recommend a visit .

Totally disorganised. Starter took 45 minutes to arrive- others in restaurant were served before us. Main course arrived rapidly after starter and none of them were very hot. Fish was awful

We were visiting Lisbon and wanted to try authentic Portuguese cuisine. O Funil did not disappoint. We were in Lisbon for a couple of days. We went there for lunch the first day and diner the day before we left. The food was excellent, the drinks were delicious and the staff were so cordial and made us feel at home.

Chose this restaurant as it was close to the hotel we stayed at. A lovely restaurant. Food and service was really good. Price wasn't too high either.

It is disappointing that a charge is made for the bread and olives. The fish was excellent but very few vegetables on the plate.

The staff and service is amazing. Food portions are okay and taste can be slightly better for the price they are charging. Wine of the house is fantastic

I think the restaurant is remarkable! The servers and managers were extremely nice. They are all trilingual and will do their best to accomplish a great service. The food was delicious and well presented. Decently priced and fancy. Definitely recommended!

Good food and service .Not fine dining but good standard, Myfriends Carbonara was heavy and too rich but my grilled sea bass was delicious.

All the food we ate was very good and tasty and the waiters were kind, professional and suggested us typical Portuguese food. I strongly recommend to eat in this restaurant, awesome experience!

Food was great as was the service. Excellent value as well. Will definitely be visiting again. 3rd time in Lisbon and can’t believe we’ve never found this place before as only staying round the corner. Thanks again all

The food was good, the service a bit inexperienced. The space is smaller compared to before, and I preferes the previous decor and ambience.
