7/10This restaurant came recommended from the hotel around the corner. We arrived slightly early for our table and were greeted with an acceptable welcome. The ambience of the restaurant lacks character and the waiting staff are slightly lacking in charisma almost could be interpreted as don’t really care if you’re there or not. The menu offers good variety and the food was okay. The staff need to up their game. Competition is fierce in Lisbon and although the food was okay it’s not enough. The restaurant needs charm and a big injection of character you could hear a pin drop at times. Literally no noise - strange. Waiting staff need to be out going and happy. They also need to know the dishes on the menu. We wouldn’t go back sadly. It wasn’t awful but we weren’t blown away.

10/10Food was fantastic .Thought portions were spot on. Really good value around 13 euros for an excellent piece of salmon . Service was attentive and just about the right level . My steak was cooked to perfection and a delicious sauce. All five of us enjoyed our meals . Would thoroughly recommend a visit .

2.5/10Totally disorganised. Starter took 45 minutes to arrive- others in restaurant were served before us. Main course arrived rapidly after starter and none of them were very hot. Fish was awful

10/10We were visiting Lisbon and wanted to try authentic Portuguese cuisine. O Funil did not disappoint. We were in Lisbon for a couple of days. We went there for lunch the first day and diner the day before we left. The food was excellent, the drinks were delicious and the staff were so cordial and made us feel at home.

10/10I think the restaurant is remarkable! The servers and managers were extremely nice. They are all trilingual and will do their best to accomplish a great service. The food was delicious and well presented. Decently priced and fancy. Definitely recommended!

10/10All the food we ate was very good and tasty and the waiters were kind, professional and suggested us typical Portuguese food. I strongly recommend to eat in this restaurant, awesome experience!

10/10Lovely Portuguese restaurant locally run with very good menu choice, great value, ambience and personal service. Really worth going too as such refreshing experience from today's large restaurant groups. We need more restaurants like this to help local businesses.
