9.5/10Very friendly staff and excellent food - some delicious traditional Portuguese dishes and some more imaginative ideas too. Very kind of them to offer us a glass of port at the end of the meal on the house! Will certainly return soon.

10/10A beautiful moment where artisan style meets the epicurious. From the moment we were greeted , seated and served our first course; we were welcomed guests. Imagine a well dressed owner greeting each guest as they enter the restaurant. Mr Nobre shares time with you as his wife exquisitely prepares each dish.. Each course complete textures and flavors sourced from Portugal and paired with Douro River finiest wines. The tables quickly filled and conversation replaced the background music. A wonderful and gracious evening to close our travels in Portugal. We look forward to our next vacation to Portugal with plans to return to O’Nobre for more epicurious adventures!

5.5/10Very mediocre food. Spider crab soup was interesting for the fake crab shell container but just a gimmick. It's quite bland. The crab meat dish was lathered with mayo and tasted like egg mayo. Overpriced. Don't order the lobster puff pastry either. €50 for what's essentially seafood pie which didn't taste good either. Overrated.

6/10We had heard a lot of hype about this restaurant and were greatly looking forward to our experience. Sadly, we found the serving sizes "adequate", the prices QUITE inflated, and frankly the food was nothing special (we all ordered different dishes and agreed that none of them were anything special). We also were supposed to receive 30% off through reservations on The Fork, which we did not receive. Our waiter was a little surly toward the one member of our group who did not speak Portuguese, and when placing down our silverware he grabbed each fork/knife/spoon by the eating end instead of by the handle! We were quite disappointed.

10/10As a frequent guest to O Nobre we decided to go for dinner during a recent promotion on The Fork offering 50% off the menu and was pleased to find out that no cut backs were made to the quality or quantity of the excellent food we have enjoyed in the past. The duck breast and lamb chops were fantastic as always, and the service was top!

10/10We NEVER dine out on Valentine’s Day because we eat in restaurants five or six days a week and generally find VD menus overbooked, overpriced and disappointing. But we found ourselves at O Nobre on VD an and were happily surprised. The kitchen showed no sign on strain, management and service were truly gracious and accommodating and Sommelier, Ricardo, is a star. Our meal was superb in every way - we were surprised and delighted with every aspect of every plate. We rarely have dessert but the pumpkin offering is unique, elegant, smart and memorable.

10/10A favorite spot for elevated Portuguese food. Chef Nobre and her charming husband are often in the dining room overseeing. The food is excellent, if a bit pricey but certainly worth it. The octopus salad. duck breast, lamb chops, and garlic laminated fish are standouts, and the pumpkin fondant for dessert is superb.

10/10The food and service were amazing, as always, but we came across a problem related to the reservation. O Nobre is participating in The Fork Festival and the reservation made in the app was made accordingly, but the restaurant didn’t receive any indication of that so they were going to charge us the full price for the meal. Fortunately for us, it was not the first time they had this same issue with The Fork, so they were kind enough to charge us the current The Fork promotion (50% discount). The Fork should pay attention to its app and systems as this could have been a big problem in another, not so understanding, restaurant.

10/10We had a beautiful experience and night at O Nobre. The team are absolutely amazing, and we have to really commend the sommelier for being incredible. The food was delicious and the wine pairings were perfect. We would definitely visit again when we return to Portugal. Thank you for such a lovely evening, and for treating us so special!!

10/10It's a little out of the hustle and bustle of the touristic city center, but well worth going out of the way. We had an excellent seafood dinner. The dishes were absolute perfection and the staff was extremely professional and friendly. It was the perfect closing to our vacation in Portugal. Thank you.

10/10Definitely worth the price. Quality of food is excellent. The waiters all of them are very attentive, esp. Mr. Ricardo and Mr. Paulo. And very singular, Mr. Nobre, the husband of chef Mrs Justa Nobre is outstandingly friendly and fulfill his task as a host extremely good which gives you the feeling to be welcomed as a guest in his home. And in my opinion ehay is important: this experience is a constant performance!

8/10Was I expecting too much from a well-known classy restaurant? If the food is quite good but not exceptional (and a bit on the pricey side) as was expected, I was surprised at how the tables were pretty close to one another and how each guest had to put his/her coat on the back of his/her chair. My wife was lucky to see the maitre d' pick her coat as she was fighting to find some space where to hold it. Once we paid the check the coat was left at a sofa and we were not guided to the door, little attentions that a restaurant of that reputation would require. Restaurant is a service industry, one should remember.

9.5/10The food is excellent and the atmosphere is good, although at times it may be pretty noisy. Good offer of wines, and excellent service (although, given that I come here often, most waiters know me, which makes everything smooth and easy). If it were not for the 30% discount on the listed menu items, the price would be very expensive, and even with the discount, this is by no means a cheap restaurant. But one thing is sure - even the most sophisticated palates will be very pleased here.

10/10Perfect in all details. Great food. Excellent service. Chef Justa and her husband visited every table to ask how everything was going so far. Probably the best rack of lamb that I have tasted in Portugal so far. A good selection of wines. I truly recommend it.

10/10Food was great. The duck was delicious, as was the spider crab soup. Try the chocolate surprise cake if you are a chocolate fan! The service was fantastic and a big Thankyou to Ricardo - our waiter - who was very charismatic, fun to talk to and provided us with a great service.

10/10The restaurant was easy to get to, one block from thr metro. The interior decor was modern, nice ambience with background music. The service was warm and welcoming. We were surprised with a welcome drink of a glass of champagne. There were sliced pork, liver, olives and veggies on the table for offer. The waiter brought fresh rolls and provided some great dinner recommendations for soup and main dinner choices. We were surprised when the restaurant owner and husband of the chef came over to say hi and chat for a moment. The soup we had was great. We wanted to split the meal and the chef did as requested. We got two bowls of crab soup and two half portions of the seabass that were really quite good and cooked to perfection. For desert we ordered the chocolate surprise (moose) and pumpkin tart with vanilla ice cream. I would rate the food 9.5 out of 10. The service was 10 out of 10 and restaurant interior 10 out of 10. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend and go back with the family.

2/10This is one restaurant I sincerely don’t understand how it’s still open, as the prices are high for the quality you get. I went with my partner and the dinner started with the waiter pushing rather forcefully all the pre confectioned starters, which we declined. He didn’t make an effort to hide that he was upset. He wanted to leave the bread, but I said I have celiac disease and don’t eat gluten. We ordered the beef carpaccio for starters, it has monstrous grains of salt (over 3mm) and a cheese which allegedly was á Parmigiano, but I’ve been to Italy more than that cheese. The waiter asked my partner how it was, we referred too salty, waiter didn’t ask for my opinion and went away. For mains I had stewed squid which was almost tasteless and my partner had the most overcooked pork we have witnessed, I mean we could break a glass window with those chunks. Again nothing was done about the complaint. For dessert we shared an “aletria” which is a traditional Portuguese dessert, but it was clearly microwaved (the plate was warm). We asked for the check and left to have coffee at People, the restaurant next door. Even though we live just around the corner, we will never visit again, it’s utterly disappointing in every possible way.

10/10Excellent food and top notch service. O Nobre is a legendary institution in Lisbon for a fine dining experience of traditional Portuguese food prepared to the highest standards. Tucked away next to the historical Bull Ring of Campo Pequeno, this one comes with a very strong recommendation for those who appreciate traditional food with a touch of luxury. Service was discreet and attentive.

9.5/10Very nice restaurant, and staff. Only negative point - today was cold and windy so I wore an overcoat. Noone offered to take it and hang it. No cupboard space or an oversight? But, essentially a very pleasant experience.
