10/10Lovely chicken piri piri in a typical Portuguese restaurant. Staff very friendly especially as the restaurant was extremely busy.

5.5/10The food was really good but the dining room is dark and old style. The food took one hour and 15 to arrive and the restaurant wasn’t full. Also we had steak on the stone that is just cutting the raw meat. The owner said it was because of the skewer but I still think the time was exaggerated

10/10What an amazing find. The food was first class and the service was excellent. The restaurant was very busy but everyone was served efficiently and with such courtesy. Will definitely be returning. Would recommend whole heartedly.

7/10Desiring a local establishment with Portuguese cuisine, we found this restaurant via Google and The Fork websites. The restaurant had many positive reviews and the online menu looked fantastic Went on a Friday night at 8pm and my wife and I were the only ones in the restaurant for the entire meal. This is neither good nor bad, but does raise concern. The covert consisted of a good portion local cheese, olives, and a delicious homemade tuna pate - very good. The menu was exciting with 2 pages of entrees designed for 2 people to share. Upon ordering we were informed all items on the 2 pages must be ordered 1-2 days in advance. There was no mention of this when we sat down nor during the 3 times the server came to answer questions before ordering. We were told we could only order from the very limited 1-page menu. Disappointing indeed. I had the grilled sole and it was delicious. It came with potatoes and overly steamed vegetables. My wife had the veal with mushroom sauce. The veal was thicker and tougher than expected (it could have been regular beef for all we know), but it was cooked properly and the mushroom sauce was nice. Overall a good, but somewhat disappointing, meal. PS: I completely understand the need to ensure quality by requesting complex meals in advance, but when 2/3 of the menu items fall into that category it should be clearly identified on the website and menu to avoid disappointment.
