9.5/10Best fish restaurant in Cascais, so good we had to return. Excellent choice of fish and shellfish. Recommend the lobster and tiger prawn paella with spicy rice for two. It was amazing, so fresh and well presented. Friendly and attentive waiters. What is there not to like 😄🏴

2nd visit on 6 weeks but this time with family and not a golf trip. Service and food are excellent! My wife and I had the paella with lobster and king prawn which was just divine! Daughters loved the octopus and pasta which were both very well cooked and great value. Thanks again for a great evening ! Jon

5.5/10The food was overpriced for the quality. Also they put many charges on our bill that we did not order. They were removed after we asked about them. Then the server asked us how we would like to tip him which I thought was strange.

10/10The food and Sangria were fantastic and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we went there twice during our week in Sao Miguel and had the opportunity to celebrate my husband’s birthday there. Highly recommended restaurant.

10/10When staying in Cascais we make a point of dining at O Pescador. It continues to be one of the best dining destinations for us. Fresh, well prepared seafood, fine and friendly service are the hallmark of this gem.

10/10I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant in the heart of Cascais! The service was top-notch - the staff were kind, friendly, and warm, with a great sense of humor that added to the welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious, particularly the fresh fish dishes that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this spot for its excellent service, great location, and mouth-watering cuisine. Can't wait to come back!

10/10Thoroughly enjoyed this lovely well-appointed restaurant. In fact, it was our favorite meal over 4 days in Cascais. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The restaurant is clean and organized. The food was delicious. The restaurant has been in business for over 50 years. That says it all.

10/10Everything was very well prepared, the ambience was good and the service perfect. One improvement should be the coffee quality. I have drunk better ones in Portugal. Not so tasty. Not that bad but could be better.

7/10Tuna and swordfish carpaccio starter that I had was very tasty, but my wife’s fish soup was rather disappointingly bland and so were the grouper mains. Quick and efficient service and friendly ambience, though.

5/10Despite having made a booking many weeks in advance, we arrived to be that it would be a problem if we wanted to sit inside and that if we wanted a table we should sit outside.Normally, we would indeed sit outside, but it was a cold evening and very few people were sat outside. To rub salt into the wounds, folk without reservations were given tables inside. Given that we had made a special booking following a previous booking, it left a sour taste with us. We got the impression that either A- our booking had been missed and they weren't expecting us. B - we weren't important enough customers to give us a table. Either way, I needed have got to the trouble of making an advance booking. The food was good, although the table starters were a bit of a con in that they were things that you weren't sure were free or not. They of course appeared on the bill. They weren't very nice either. Wine was good though and the waited that served us during the meal was friendly.

9.5/10Had to go at Pescador to taste the best fish and seafood of our stay in Portugal. Excellent and friendly service. We were a group of 7 and everyone was pleased with their choice.

10/10Not or first time at O Pescador, but one of many. Every year for the last 7 (excluding Covid) we have visited them 3 /4 times during our 14 day holiday and never been disappointed. Would highly recommend a visit.
