Amazing service and tasty food! Just a heads up that the portions are on the smaller side/lighter side, so you might want to order a bit more than usual.

Courteous of server. 4 of us had Portuguese sausage, duck breast and octopus. All cooked just right, not over cooked or over salted.

2/10After a visit in 2022 I was looking forward to revisit this gem of a restaurant. Unfortunately the management has changed, and the restaurant is very different despite not looking the restaurant page. Food is average, no more live fado, decor is off and whole ambience is not up to the standards it had before. Quite disappointing

Ola, Mr.Timóteo we are very sorry that you found the ambience disappointing but as you have already mentioned that the management has changed how could you expect to have live fado in 50% of in the menu. As life goes on people change,time goes on and its 2025 not 2022.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! The food is simply outstanding, the staff is adorable and incredibly friendly, and the place itself is cozy and inviting. Excellent service from start to finish — everything was just perfect! Highly recommend!

9/10This was our first visit. Visually, it’s the type of place that I’d probably just walk by: small, lack of charm, not many diners (at the time we went). We found a deal through The Fork and decided to take a gamble. What a pleasant surprise! We had the couvert of olives, warm bread, olive oil and cream cheese which was nice to nibble on while we waited for our food. Our main dishes took a little while to prepare, but that’s because everything was made fresh! The pork cheeks and the octopus were both expertly prepared and so delicious. Service was friendly and our server spoke English which was a plus. We both agreed that with the promotional discount, this meal was a terrific value. We have found a hidden gem and look forward to the next visit!

10/10Excellent dinner in the heart of Alfama! We really appreciated the two risottos (seafood and mushroom ones) and chicken momo. If you fancy a different menu among dozens of “tascos”, this is the right place for you. Cheers!

10/10Wow. What a good time. Seafood rice was INSANE. Duck was also one of a kind. Our server gave us great tips and steered us away from what was bad along with making GREAT conversation. Felt like a friend. Yum food good people

7.5/10We got a 50% discount here. It was very nice food. If you do not get the discount though, it is nowhere near the price they are charging for main courses.

7.5/10Comparing to other places in Lisbon, the food was fine but quite average. We ordered shrimps, octopus and tried better versions of these in many other restaurants in the city. We also ordered momos - they were like the ones you can buy in supermarket. 2 things a really did NOT like: 1) food menu is really overpriced. The prices are 2x to what you see in similar restaurants. I booked with The Fork with 50% discount and it seems that they gave us special menu with all the prices twice higher. If that’s the case, it’s a violation of consumer rights. 2) the interior and the whole ambiance is clearly not finished and is not organic at all. Walls are empty with no decoration. Pop music from US is not matching with Indian wallpaper and Alfama vibes. They certainly need an interior consultant.

7/10We came to this restaurant based on prior Fork reviews. The food is good and solid, not necessarily exceptional- especially for the price (most main dishes were 25-32€). The shrimp (20€) appetizer was tasty but portion was woeful- 6 medium shrimp. The service could not have been better but you don’t visit a restaurant just for service. We did not try the momos which we heard from another diner are excellent— and which are inexpensive compared with other dishes. Overall based on the prior reviews we were a bit disappointed - but we wish this starter restaurant all the best!
