After a visit in 2022 I was looking forward to revisit this gem of a restaurant. Unfortunately the management has changed, and the restaurant is very different despite not looking the restaurant page. Food is average, no more live fado, decor is off and whole ambience is not up to the standards it had before. Quite disappointing

Absolutely amazing restaurant! The food is simply outstanding, the staff is adorable and incredibly friendly, and the place itself is cozy and inviting. Excellent service from start to finish — everything was just perfect! Highly recommend!

This was our first visit. Visually, it’s the type of place that I’d probably just walk by: small, lack of charm, not many diners (at the time we went). We found a deal through The Fork and decided to take a gamble. What a pleasant surprise! We had the couvert of olives, warm bread, olive oil and cream cheese which was nice to nibble on while we waited for our food. Our main dishes took a little while to prepare, but that’s because everything was made fresh! The pork cheeks and the octopus were both expertly prepared and so delicious. Service was friendly and our server spoke English which was a plus. We both agreed that with the promotional discount, this meal was a terrific value. We have found a hidden gem and look forward to the next visit!
