8/10I arrived a couple of minutes early as I was under time pressure. Rather than being invited to take my seat and maybe offered a drink while the team finished the briefing, I was told to wait in the butcher shop just outside the dining room. Fair enough, but it indicated a rigid approach to service that continued throughout the meal. Not that the service wasn't correct or attentive, but it was formal rather than friendly. The decor is sleek and stylish but I don't understand why the dining room needs to be so dark. The beef, which is obviously the main point, was perfectly cooked. The texture of my 42-day aged Rubia Gallega was wonderful although, being critical, I perhaps hoped for even more depth of flavour as a result of the long ageing. The house reserva red was delicious and a perfect foil for the meat. O Talho is a very good steak restaurant but I felt it could be even better if it relaxed a bit and didn't take itself quite so seriously. It would certainly be more fun.

4/10One of the worst ever experiences, we order 4 entrecotes 3 arrived identically and one arrived that had no familiarity to an entrecote, only some fat at the top nothing in-between and looking fat and narrow very much like a sirloin! even the waiters and manager on duty could not recognize the cut of meat. The cook said it was an entrecote. the manager offer the change it and a second entrecote arrived and could be recognize as an entrecote, sadly the cook looks like he did not like the complain and over salted the meet so it could not been eaten. the manager tried it and agreed this was very wrong. sadly I did not eat! so was the meat over salted by "mistake" or on purpose that is for the managers/owners to find out for me in any case it means the cook is not at the level I will ever eat in a restaurant he/she works. Chef Kiko I hope you get involved as there is a reason your restaurant had 2 tables including our table for lunch.

6.5/10Meat was great, but. There is a big problem with a service, woman at the entrance shamed us about changing our reservation last minute through Fork and we should’ve called them. Why it’s our problem that fork is not notifying you of changed reservations? But that’s not the worst part. Worst part is that we had plastic in our side and we politely asked them to explain us what it is (we know it’s plastic), and there was nothing done after that, no food replacement, no discount, no free desert. They just came out with a plastic bag from which they serve mashed spinach. Seriously? “Michelin” restaurant serves pre-made food? Ok, we looked at the plastic bag, that’s it, end of the story. Enjoy plastic in your food, come again. And we will charge you for service. Great

9/10We love this restaurant. And try to eat here every time we drive into Lisbon! There is so much good here. A super lovey dining room yet relaxed… not stuffy. This visit , the romaine asperagus salad was a quite salty, the layered potatoes was not as creamy and the layers of potato seemed a tad undercooked We shared the short ribs which were succulent but a bit one-note flavor and slightly under seasoned so it sat flat on the tongue. Maybe needs a sweet note to balance the fatty, (which I adore)! This place just needs to up its game a tiny bit to be worthy of an upgrade in the Michelin rating. All plates were beautifully presented and the staff was impeccable It is well worth the visit …. ! We will come again and hope for closer to perfection! It we are very picky foodies… so keep that in mind! Don’t miss this restaurant.

6.5/10While the food was more than adequate, the wine list with respect to open wines was limited and not particularly impressive. Quality was acceptable but nothing special (not least in respect of prices). Service was efficient but had more to do with routine than enthusiasm. Compared to restaurants in a similar league that one can find in Lisboa, this was certainly under par and not a place to which I would return.

10/10From the moment we walked in we were treated to exceptional service in a very relaxing atmosphere. The knowledge and attention from the staff while maintaining the feeling you were alone was something very unique and rare to us. 10/10We visited for my girlfriend's birthday, the restaurant has a great environment and the staff was very welcoming from the first minute. We chose the tasting menu, which consisted of five courses and a dessert. There was a choice of 3 cocktails which are daily and not on the menu, the Pisco Sour was superb. I've noted down all courses and rated them a 10/10 across the board - but I won't spoil the composition, go and try this yourself! Take the waiter's suggestion and skip the couvert, you'll be full before you know it. :) Thank you to the entire staff for the amazing meal and for adhering to my request for a candle at the end of the meal, which came in little but very tasty chocolate truffles.

10/10Last min decision…. Turned into a real treat. Excellent service and friendly staff. We had the entrecôte ( we like a marbled fat) Best steak we’ve had! Sides were delicious:: Chef came out to chat regarding a a beef question we had! Great restaurant we will be back!!

7/10We went for my birthday. The starter was dry and not very tasty. The pasta dish was lovely. We cancelled the steak course as the starter was so disappointing. The wine list is very over priced. It was mentioned on the booking that the reservation was for a birthday and that wasn't mentioned. The bill came with the starter still on it and I asked for it to be removed so that we could tip the staff as they shouldn't have to pay for one guy in the kitchen sending out dry food. The restaurant is attractive and the staff were pleasant but a disappointing overall experience.
