8/10I arrived a couple of minutes early as I was under time pressure. Rather than being invited to take my seat and maybe offered a drink while the team finished the briefing, I was told to wait in the butcher shop just outside the dining room. Fair enough, but it indicated a rigid approach to service that continued throughout the meal. Not that the service wasn't correct or attentive, but it was formal rather than friendly. The decor is sleek and stylish but I don't understand why the dining room needs to be so dark. The beef, which is obviously the main point, was perfectly cooked. The texture of my 42-day aged Rubia Gallega was wonderful although, being critical, I perhaps hoped for even more depth of flavour as a result of the long ageing. The house reserva red was delicious and a perfect foil for the meat. O Talho is a very good steak restaurant but I felt it could be even better if it relaxed a bit and didn't take itself quite so seriously. It would certainly be more fun.

10/10Excellent steakhouse. As a steakhouse should be. The meat was of very high quality and properly treated. The restaurant space is pleasant and the service was wonderful. Highly recommended for those who love meat.

4/10One of the worst ever experiences, we order 4 entrecotes 3 arrived identically and one arrived that had no familiarity to an entrecote, only some fat at the top nothing in-between and looking fat and narrow very much like a sirloin! even the waiters and manager on duty could not recognize the cut of meat. The cook said it was an entrecote. the manager offer the change it and a second entrecote arrived and could be recognize as an entrecote, sadly the cook looks like he did not like the complain and over salted the meet so it could not been eaten. the manager tried it and agreed this was very wrong. sadly I did not eat! so was the meat over salted by "mistake" or on purpose that is for the managers/owners to find out for me in any case it means the cook is not at the level I will ever eat in a restaurant he/she works. Chef Kiko I hope you get involved as there is a reason your restaurant had 2 tables including our table for lunch.

6.5/10Meat was great, but. There is a big problem with a service, woman at the entrance shamed us about changing our reservation last minute through Fork and we should’ve called them. Why it’s our problem that fork is not notifying you of changed reservations? But that’s not the worst part. Worst part is that we had plastic in our side and we politely asked them to explain us what it is (we know it’s plastic), and there was nothing done after that, no food replacement, no discount, no free desert. They just came out with a plastic bag from which they serve mashed spinach. Seriously? “Michelin” restaurant serves pre-made food? Ok, we looked at the plastic bag, that’s it, end of the story. Enjoy plastic in your food, come again. And we will charge you for service. Great
