This place is a contemporary take on risotto. But do not over order because the rice (riso) can be a bit much. We started with La parmigiana, a classically prepared eggplant dish with no complaints in flavor. We then ordered the “Gunkan Mix”, 8 pairs of unique sushi like rolls, of plain al dente rice in the center wrapped with some type of vegetable or cured meat and then topped with a cheese cream and or vegetable puree like topping. This set of food is too much for two people if you plan on trying their risotto main courses. My wife had the Milanese which was a saffron risotto with shredded ossobuco (beef). While I had the picture worthy scallops which did not suite my palate because of the sweeter undertones. We were not able to finish these two dishes. The texture of the rice in the Gunkan mix was weird for my Asian palate. The Milanese is a safe decision for their menu. If you are a local, this place may be worth it, but travelers should spend time elsewhere.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was cooked to perfection and exceeded my expectations. The service was just as impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. They were friendly without being intrusive, and their recommendations were spot on. Overall, this is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal!

service was horribly slow other people came after us and left before us. wtf??? appetizers were so small it was a joke. but the risottos were ace!

The restaurant has a super nice interior and a very friendly staff. Its always nice to see the chefs in action. Our party of 5 had all different risotto’s and they where perfectly cooked. We really recommend Officina del Riso.

A restaurant where I am always happy to go. The classic dishes (gunkan), which I strongly reocmmend, never disappoint and the new risotto was pleasant. Service was attentive and fast and price very reasonable given the discount by the fork. It would be a bit expensive but reasonable given the overall quality.

I was excited to try a fusion restaurant with many different varieties of risotto. As I was seated, a QR code was thrown on the table and the host walked away. It took another thirty minutes for anyone to coke again to our table. In the meantime, three other tables were seated, greeted, given water and orders taken While we sat and waited. I am not sure why we were not taken care of. I made eye contact with one of the waiters many times and he still did not come over. I began to wonder if it was because I am American. Our Italian friend who was with us became annoyed as well. I know I am used to servers taking orders quickly in the States but this was rude. I wondered if perhaps only one of the wait staff spoke English. We were prepared to order in Italian and had chosen this restaurant as a more authentic experience. The appetizer (Fried zucchini flower) was superb. Our risottos and dishes were good.

Excellent fusion food. As well the small Japanese style starters as the octopus as the grilled steak. Very well thought dishes with tasty flavors - bitter, sweet, salty - you should definitely try. Only room for improvement would be that it was not asked how the steak should be cooked. For my wife it was perfectly cooked medium rare but e.g. I could not have eaten as too rare for me. Should change that to avoid misunderstandings but as said for us it was excellent.

The ambience and service were delightful. The food was exceptional, specially the carbonara bites. The food quality was astonishing and the service was quick but it didn’t feel rust, they set a good pace. Overall very satisfied with the experience and for sure will recommend.
