Super delicious food!! Only a bit noisy, not ideal if you're older/ have trouble with hearing. No problem with the "time slot," we had plenty of time on a Friday night :)

Service was great, ambiance was fun and energizing, and the food was really really good. Loved the sea vegetable taco - incredible and really should be renamed as it was fresh tuna, and yummy stuff on a lettuce leaf. Delicious.

We had a wonderful dinner in a warm and welcoming setting! The staff was friendly, and every dish was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Portuguese rice, perfectly seasoned, and the quail, which was tender and flavorful. The tempura leeks, light and crispy, were a delightful surprise as well. Highly recommend this spot for authentic, flavorful cuisine!

The restaurant offered generally good food and service, but each dish was enhanced by a sauce, which seemed to lack creativity and any distinctive local flair. Portions were small, making it less suitable for groups, and the prices felt mismatched to the quality of the experience. Overall, it was a rather unusual dining experience, though not one I’d recommend.

The small plates food was uniformly excellent and very well presented. Saucing was very well flavoured. Service was warm and charming and excellent (native quality) English was spoken. Very strong recommendation.

Our server was amazing. He took the time to explain dishes and made recommendations, which were all amazing. The food was inventive and delicious. There wasn’t a single thing I wouldn’t order again. The entire experience was great - even though the restaurant was busy and full the entire time, we felt like we were the server’s only customers.

Possibly the best lunch we’ve ever had. An extraordinary selection of sharing dishes which are underplayed on the menu but explained fully by the excellent staff on ordering and delivery. Favorites: venison tartare, garlic prawns, astonishing cuttlefish, mushrooms and iberica tusk.

This was our second visit while in Portugal for two weeks (Lisbon twice, with a diversion in between). The first visit was so excellent that we had to go again. Our second visit surpassed the first in many ways! The food is original and delicious in ways that I didn’t know existed. The staff seems genuinely excited to share the experience with the guests and they exude pride over the restaurant's inventive dishes. Highly recommend!

Different food. The raw shrimps were unlike anything we've had and were amazingly good with very different texture and flavour. All dishes looked lovely and none were disappointing. Service was light touch and friendly. We're going back.

From the moment we arrived at this brilliant restaurant we were made to feel welcome and special. We were seated at ‘the best table in the restaurant’ by the window and our waiter ‘John’ was immediately engaging and warm. He explained the menu in detail and helped us make choices around my preference for vegetarian food. Everything we ate was beautifully presented and delicious. There were some surprising flavour combinations but all worked and were truly memorable. The garlic prawns and the slab of cheesecake were the real standouts. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The wait staff were so friendly. I received such a warm welcome and they spent time talking through the different menu options and making suggestions. The waiter also made an excellent wine recommendation that I really, really enjoyed. I was dining solo, but this would make an excellent venue for a group, with really good sharing options. All the food was enjoyable - almost 5/5, but some tiny changes needed (e.g., I think the rib eye toast needed something acidic to balance the flavours). I thought the food was all really good value.

Our table of four was looking forward to our dinner. However, the food overall was somewhat disappointing. We shared several plates….i did enjoy the sea vegetable tacos (which diner should be aware is tuna), and the rib toast the best. The other offerings were not up to our expectations. The razed clams were chewy, and the cod in my opinion was mushy. The wine was a higher price point for what we compared to other wines on our trip. Also, you need to be very aware that the pricing on most of the items are per piece, so for four of us, the plate was 40€ not the 10€ listed. This was not at all explained to us so the bill was not what we expected either. Food wise this was the least enjoyable meal we have had during our two week trip.

Great menu for a good price. Wine excellent. Service on top! We went twice to try as many dishes as we could. 4-6 dishes is advised. Raw shrimp dish is one of the best we have tried. Codfish was really good, along the rest of the menu.

The food was delicious and we inspired. The dishes were very creative and had wonderful spices. The waiter was passionate about his craft and his suggestions were amazing!! Truly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this restaurant.
