Nice food, lovely location, kind service. However, unusually long waiting time for food (about 1 hour for 3 main courses) , while the resturant was about 1/3 full.

It was the second time we were at Old Fashion and we confirm the first impressions of the first visit. Excellent the Chicken Tori Katsu as starter! To follow, the Rib Eye was very tasty and the Fries Rendang were so nicely spicy! Staff very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We will be glad to come back again!

We are huge fans of the Old Fashion in Den Haag so we decided to try this location. Very nice atmosphere and really nice tables to sit outside at the water. We sat inside because the night was a bit too breezy. When we arrived, there were only 3-4 other tables already occupied. We arrived at 6:30 and there were only 2 girls working the entire restaurant. Everyone else can in after us and the two girls were quite busy handling all of the people by themselves. We decided to just order entrees and skip bread or appetizers. We ordered our food just after the people who were sitting behind us that arrived after us. We sat there for over and hour and watched everyone eating and we were still waiting. Finally we had to ask if our food was coming anytime soon after watching everyone around us already finished with their entrees. I know they were quite busy for a Saturday evening, but please do better to keep your customers informed and AT LEAST apologize and offer something to make up for the wait. It was quite ridiculous and the manager did not apologize and the waitress’s response was “it is quite busy!” When our food finally arrived I had to ask twice for the wine I wanted to drink with my dinner. The food was very good,and the ambiance is nice, however the service is Terri at this location m. Maybe we were just not luck for some reason that evening, but we will not return to this location. The Hague is much better staffed and more welcome.

Sad to hear, and by this (better late, then neven) our apologies. The walk-in that night was a bit overwhelming, but that may never the reason. Even if we have a off day. So we hope to see you again, in the Hague or a second chance in Leidschendam. Kind regards. Old Fashion staff

It was the first time we came to the Old Fashion but we'll like to come back, definitely. As a starter we time the Tori Katsu (deep-fried chicken Japanese style) which we found excellent! As a main course, the Picanha, which was very well grilled! Excellent the home-made fries and the truffle mayonnaise! The dessert was nice too. Ambiance is modern and pleasant. Staff was very friendly. Location is very nice, close to the Vliet and with free parking garage nearby. The Fork discount applied seamlessly. All in all, a great experience!
