We visit this restaurant almost every time we are in Groningen. They offer authentic Greek food, very friendly staff and a warm, Mediterranean atmosphere.

We were a group of 16 people and we were all very happy with the food, the service and the environment. Olijfboom was also attentive to the specific dietary needs of some of our guests. I highly recommend Olijfboom - the waiters are very kind and helpful, the food is excellent and the restaurant is warm and lively. Will definitely be back again!

I went there for a date with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time. We chose the surprise menu, the waiter was very friendly and explained each dish. At the end we even got a piece of a delicious orange cake. Everything tasted so fresh! The menu was very various and filling, perfect if it’s your first time trying Greek food. We will definitely come back!

Very good Greek restaurant in Groningen. The moussaka tastes of authentic homemade food and the chocolate cake is very nicely presented with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The staff is friendly and the bill fair.

Staffs are very friendly. Dishes are served on time. Foods taste great of course. We really liked the cozy and relaxed atmosphere but professional services and tastes.

We really enjoyed the Musaka and the Chicken and Potato dish! The waiters did everything to accommodate our bigger group and we highly appreciated that!

The food was good (though not exceptional) and the ambiance was great! It was a bit cold at the door though so finding a solution that does not let the cold air through would be appreciated :) bit besides that the service and food were both very good!

A very good Greek restaurant. We have really enjoyed our dinner here: the staff was very friendly and the food tasted like home made food, authentic. We will definitely come back.

My gf went there with her colleagues for a after work dinner and since then it has been on our list. They have a great variety of dishes. We went with a surprise menu that serves pretty much everything on their menu. It was a lot of food for the both of us. Definitely the value for money. Service great too, very friendly staff. Totally recommend the place for an experience.

A true authentic Greek restaurant in the heart of Groningen. It’s one of my favourite places to go as you are always made feel so welcome and the food is always delicious.

The quality is really good. The price of the dishes is also ok. Just the big meze plate for 17,50 is overpriced. Better take trois de meze and another starter.

After the very positive other reviews, I was a bit disappointed in the 'arnika me meli' (lamb) stew. The meat tasted a bit hard and dry, as if the stew had been cooked at a too high temperature.

We had been wanting to eat here for ages but never got around to it. We were definitely happy we did though! We decided to have the "surprise" choice on the menu. At first we were nervous that it would only be a small (albeit delicious) plate with bread and dips but later on they brought out meatballs, cheese pastries and stewed lamb as well so we left very happy and full. Would definitely recommend it!

A heartwarmingly welcoming staff made the lukewarmly seasoned entrées feel all the more tasty with their ever-present smiles. The atmosphere was very jovial, sometimes a bit too much.
