10/10We were a group of 16 people and we were all very happy with the food, the service and the environment. Olijfboom was also attentive to the specific dietary needs of some of our guests. I highly recommend Olijfboom - the waiters are very kind and helpful, the food is excellent and the restaurant is warm and lively. Will definitely be back again!

9.5/10I went there for a date with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time. We chose the surprise menu, the waiter was very friendly and explained each dish. At the end we even got a piece of a delicious orange cake. Everything tasted so fresh! The menu was very various and filling, perfect if it’s your first time trying Greek food. We will definitely come back!

10/10Very good Greek restaurant in Groningen. The moussaka tastes of authentic homemade food and the chocolate cake is very nicely presented with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The staff is friendly and the bill fair.

7/10As a greek national, every dish I tried was just a bit off. The Tiropita seemed like it was between a tiropita and saganaki, the gemista was unsalted and had raisins in it (which dominated the dish) and the soutzoukakia used too lean minced meat, resulting in fairly dry meatballs. Overall, I didn't like the food.

10/10We really enjoyed the Musaka and the Chicken and Potato dish! The waiters did everything to accommodate our bigger group and we highly appreciated that!

8.5/10The food was good (though not exceptional) and the ambiance was great! It was a bit cold at the door though so finding a solution that does not let the cold air through would be appreciated :) bit besides that the service and food were both very good!

9/10Really cosy and friendly atmosphere. Delicious entrees and and main courses. Main courses were smaller than expected but definitely made up for it in taste. Would definitely work my way through the menu.

10/10My gf went there with her colleagues for a after work dinner and since then it has been on our list. They have a great variety of dishes. We went with a surprise menu that serves pretty much everything on their menu. It was a lot of food for the both of us. Definitely the value for money. Service great too, very friendly staff. Totally recommend the place for an experience.

7.5/10After the very positive other reviews, I was a bit disappointed in the 'arnika me meli' (lamb) stew. The meat tasted a bit hard and dry, as if the stew had been cooked at a too high temperature.

9/10We had been wanting to eat here for ages but never got around to it. We were definitely happy we did though! We decided to have the "surprise" choice on the menu. At first we were nervous that it would only be a small (albeit delicious) plate with bread and dips but later on they brought out meatballs, cheese pastries and stewed lamb as well so we left very happy and full. Would definitely recommend it!

7.5/10A heartwarmingly welcoming staff made the lukewarmly seasoned entrées feel all the more tasty with their ever-present smiles. The atmosphere was very jovial, sometimes a bit too much.
