We were a group of 16 people and we were all very happy with the food, the service and the environment. Olijfboom was also attentive to the specific dietary needs of some of our guests. I highly recommend Olijfboom - the waiters are very kind and helpful, the food is excellent and the restaurant is warm and lively. Will definitely be back again!

I went there for a date with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time. We chose the surprise menu, the waiter was very friendly and explained each dish. At the end we even got a piece of a delicious orange cake. Everything tasted so fresh! The menu was very various and filling, perfect if it’s your first time trying Greek food. We will definitely come back!

Very good Greek restaurant in Groningen. The moussaka tastes of authentic homemade food and the chocolate cake is very nicely presented with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The staff is friendly and the bill fair.

As a greek national, every dish I tried was just a bit off. The Tiropita seemed like it was between a tiropita and saganaki, the gemista was unsalted and had raisins in it (which dominated the dish) and the soutzoukakia used too lean minced meat, resulting in fairly dry meatballs. Overall, I didn't like the food.

The food was good (though not exceptional) and the ambiance was great! It was a bit cold at the door though so finding a solution that does not let the cold air through would be appreciated :) bit besides that the service and food were both very good!

Really cosy and friendly atmosphere. Delicious entrees and and main courses. Main courses were smaller than expected but definitely made up for it in taste. Would definitely work my way through the menu.
