10/10It was a little bit expensive but the food was very good and our view through palace windows viewing Versailles was unreal. Also, they snuck us through the side door ahead of long lines. I would highly recommend this experience. It made our Versailles trip extra special.

7.5/10Not what I have come to expect from Alain Ducasse. I recognize it was the day after New Years but the service was slow and the food okay but not what I would have expected from other Ducasse experiences. Should we have allowed more than 1 and 1/2 hours for lunch, maybe, but even so the Guinea as well as the pasta was just okay.

8/10We were ignored for the first 20-25 minutes sitting in the restaurant. I was forced to get up and ask if we had to order a different way since people who were seated after us who not only had their order taken but were served. This is why is asked if I needed to order differently. Other than that our experience with you was amazing

5/10We were seated promptly thanks to our reservation, and the hostess was very friendly and attentive. However, things went downhill from there. Our waiter was incredibly slow in taking our order, bringing drinks, and delivering our food. To make matters worse, my mom's dish arrived without the sauce. We noticed that the table next to us, which ordered the same dish, was served with the sauce poured over the food. We repeatedly asked for the sauce, but the waiter never brought it, even as my mom was nearly finished with her meal. It wasn’t until the hostess noticed and proactively brought the sauce herself that we finally received it. The food itself was mediocre and somewhat bland—perhaps an attempt to replicate the flavors of ancient royalty, but the service was definitely subpar. Our meal stretched over two hours, most of it spent waiting on the waiter. As tourists with limited time, the lengthy wait was a significant downside to dining here.

2.5/10we were refused, sent away because there was no space. I looked in the restaurant on the website and made the reservation promptly. dirwct a seat. First a couple came, then a group of four, it was fully booked…. I checked website the could have been seated instantly… It was and is a shame… Food moderate…

5/10The staff were pleasant but brought the bill before we were really finished. The soft boiled eggs were underdone and not really edible but the poached eggs were perfect.

9.5/10The food was delicious and the thoughtful setting highlights the views of the gold roof of the chapel, with the gold tables and kumquot trees. Ask for a seat by the wondows. It set the stage for the food and wine. I had a generous portion of tartar in a soy ginger reduction sauce, a nice twist on a classic. A pea soup was delicate and a filet of fish was perfectly moist and crispy and tasty. For desert I ordered the berry souffle. Impeccable tasting, light and airy and just the right amount of sweet.

4/10If you want a live action experience of the reign of Louis XIV this is the place to go. In all seriousness, the air about this place is absolutely comical. The service is terrible, and expect to be ignored and have to ask for things multiple times. My husband had to ask for a carafe of water 3x which was brought to us moments before we were ready to leave and pay the bill. Speaking of the bill, prepare to be audibly asked if you would like to leave a tip. The gall of the staff after the lackluster service is truly unparalleled. Aside from the absurdity of it all, the food was nothing special.

5/10We have been coming to this restaurant since it’s opening both for dinners and for lunch. But today we returned after about a year for lunch and found the quality of both the food and the service not what it was at all. The menu was scaled down the chicken was overcooked, the fish was minuscule compared to the the surrounding beets, and the prices were way too high. The best thing was that cucumber soup with mint, and the desserts were quite fine as always, but for the remainders, it has gone way downhill in the department of the main course. I must say that the St. Emilion wine lacked smooth, and robust quality That it usually should have and was a bit edgy, way too dry. I wish they would go back to charging a little bit more and giving the quality that we expect from Alain Ducass😢😔

10/10We made a reservation the morning of our visit to Versailles since the weather was too cold and rainy to enjoy the gardens. We opted for a nice leisurely lunch at Ore instead. The staff was excellent and attentive and the restaurant was bright and airy. It was really a joy to have lunch here after the crowds in Versailles. We chose the entree and dessert combination which was a great deal in my opinion. They also offer an appetizer/entree option or menu for appetizer/entree/dessert for a fixed price. For our entrees we had the beef tartar, which was delicious and plentiful. For dessert we preordered the pistachio souffle and also a vanilla mille feuille, both were fantastic! Lunch ran a little more than an hour (for those who are taking part in a tour and have time constraints) I wouldn't hesitate to come again on future visits to the palace.

7.5/10Friendly, accommodating, but erratic service, as we had three servers come to take our order, then meals arrived quickly (almost too quickly), then >30 minutes passed before they cleared our plates, then another 15 for a soufflé (which we purposefully ordered in advance to save time), another 5 for the coffees we wanted with the soufflé. Again, very nice staff but perhaps overwhelmed or undertrained.

4.5/10Nice setting, very kindly allows us to avoid queues. But food was small, revolting and cold. Hot Chocolate was bitter and went cold almost immediately. Sausages were tiny and flavourless. 1 tomato.. watery and cold. Scrambled eggs tasted awful. Pastries were almost oily. Plates should have been warm. One redeeming feature was bread and butter wasn't bad. The music was awful. The room was a bit cold and staff weren't particularly smiley or polite.

10/10Superb! Fabulous atmosphere, lunch and service. Upscale in the Versailles palace with a special entrance into the palace. Definitely opt for the hazelnut souflee - it’s very special!

4/10Honestly, we had a terrible experience. The service was very very bad, it took forever and they sent us to the service room. They messed up the order and the attitude was very bad. There were even mistakes in the check. Not recommended at all. The food was OK and the price was fair.

9/10This restaurant is beautifully situated on the first floor, inside the Palace of Versailles. The large classical windows provide stunning views of the palace courtyard. The ambience is relaxing and quiet, despite being in a busy tourist attraction. The staff were very professional and friendly, but did take some time to come over at appropriate times for things like the bill. It wasn't a major problem, but a couple more waiters or waitresses would've helped make things more seamless. The food itself was excellent; elegant, light and tasty. We had water melon and cucumber soup to start... and who knew it would be so refreshing. For mains, we had beef tartare. Perhaps it could've been about half its size, as it was a lot of food for a light lunch. However, the flavours and texture were excellent, and it was complemented by a side-salad and some chips, both of which were good. We didn't have a dessert, because we were so full, but the souffle looked great. ???? All in, a very nice experience.

10/10Genuinely saved our trip to France. We had been having bad experience after bad experience and we were beyond pleasantly surprised when we came to Ore. Every staff member was not only kind and welcoming, but incredibly attentive and anticipated our every need. The menu was beautiful, the food was fresh and the wine pairing was exceptional. It was such a special experience to eat in Versailles and this was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Ore!

9/10The vienoisseries were as good as I expected. My only complaint is how the eggs were cooked. I asked if the fried eggs could be cooked over easy and they said no. So as often happens, there was some uncooked white, which I don't like.

7/10Disappointing. I think being Micheline recommended and Ducasse, you have a certain expectation and this was not met during my visit. The welcome downstairs before entering the restaurant was plain rude. I’m pretty sure my booking wasn’t expected and if it was, the welcome wasn’t warm. I was left at my table for quite a while before a very surprised waitress appeared. Food was good but you’d expect that. Service was slow and negligent. The staff seemed more interested in spending time behind the bookings desk than serving and clearing tables. This was all a shame as if service was good I would have had a very pleasant visit. It brought down the experience to such a level that I cannot recommend going even if the food was lovely. Do better.

4/10Prices are excessive, we ordered 8 dishes and only 4 arrived, the only perk is skipping the line but honestly, just pay the extra for the skip the line ticket and eat at the restaurant inside the gardens, food ain’t great there either but at least service is good and the views are phenomenal.
