10/10We came in a party of 4 and are not huge eaters and were pleasantly surprised with the tapas-style menu. That allowed us to order a few dishes to share. Each dish was really well prepared and tasty. We particularly loved the sardinhas on bread (note this is seasonal so may not be available) as well as the batata doce dish. The boutique wines were also good. Service was excellent. We will be back !

5/10When we arrived at the restaurant the waiter immediately told us the portions would be the size of the plate (which was already set on the table). When we ordered our food, the portions were even smaller and about the size of a small fruit bowl. They clearly reduced the sizes dramatically because we were eligible for the 30% from The Fork. And the food was not very good. I ordered the cod and it was very salty and in tiny pieces. My husband ordered the sausage and it was dry and it too was cut into tiny pieces. They have no salads or veggies other than potatoes. And they have no cocktail offerings other than their own wine or beer. Would NOT recommend this place at all. .

10/10+1I visited twice while I was in Portugal, the food, wine and service were perfect. It was an unforgettable wine bar and I would go there again if I were to visit Lisbon.

10/10Great place. Lovely staff, very engaging all evening. We enjoyed the local wines, great they let us try before we decided which ones to have. Food fabulous. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

10/10The food was delicious, it's a tapas kind of meal, they suggest 3 plates for 2 people. The waiter suggested us wines based on our tastes and his suggestions were spot on, very very good wine selection. We were planning on coming for a glass and we ended up eating and taking more than a glass each to taste more different wines.

10/10Excellent food both in taste and presentation! The portions weren’t large but it was tapas (shareable) style. We had 6 dishes for 5 of us which was perfect. The wine all came from their winery and was delicious too. Best meal yet in Portugal!

10/10We weren’t sure if this restaurant really deserved the 4.8 rating shown on Google, but in this case, it absolutely does! Cleanliness, service, menu variety, and impeccable quality, not to mention the prices, which are very reasonable for this type of restaurant! I will definitely return during my next stay in Lisbon without hesitation!

10/10A perfect dinner experience— the chef (HD) approaches each table with his blackboard full of spectacular tapas choices. And then advises as to the perfect wine choice (their own vineyards) for your selections. Everything was delicious— we had four tapas and the best chocolate mousse in the world…. and gifted a special parting liqueur for my birthday. Overall one of the best meals we’ve ever had in our many European trips. We hope to return before we leave Lisbon in a few days….

9.5/10It was our first night in Lisbon and my goodness were we in for a treat. We arrived at the same time as a larger group of ladies, but another member of staff came straight over and took us to a table whilst they were being dealt with separately as we had a reservation. The waiter ran us through the menu and gave us some time to think, having told us about the concept of sharing plates. We ordered bacalhau and chickpeas, pork with potato gratin, and croquettes. All were delicious. We asked for recommendations on wine that would best go with our food choices, and the waiter brought two bottles over so we could try a little of each and decide from there - we went for a more local grape too. It wasn't busy which surprised us for a Saturday night, but it was a lovely setting and the food was the star of the show!! Would definitely recommend.

10/10We had a very nice evening in this lovely restaurant - relaxed ambience, excellent food and extraordinary service. The tapas have an exceptional twist and the menu is explained in detail by the chef. Definitely recommend!

10/10Went to Orquidea twice in a 4 day trip to Lisbon. It was so good the first time we had to go back. Amazing food and a brilliant selection of local wines in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended. Will be going back next time I go to Lisbon.

Malheuresement, ce jour-lá, nous nous sommes rendu compte que par erreur de la plate-forme The Fork, il y avait un mneu affiché sur le site qui n´etait pas le nôtre et cela a pu créer un peu de confusion au moment de la reservation. nous avons réalise qui vous etais un peu mal á l´aise avec quelque chose mais nous ne savions pas avec quoi. Jái compris maintenant. Quant au concept de partage, il est expliqué au debaut et nous avons meme demade sé vous voulez qu´il soit expliquê en français... 6.5/10We had a rather unfriendly welcome and after telling that my husband couldn’t eat garlic, the garçon sighed unnerved and said that it was almost impossible to find dishes in Portuguese cuisine without garlic. We can’t agree more, but we shouldn’t be punished for an allergy… later, the waiter turned more friendly, but the dishes were just “ok”, even though they were presented beautifully. The sardine dish was perfect - very juicy, with a special twist being topped with strawberries and Balsamic cream on goat cheese. The beef was rather dry than tender, the tuna rather oversalted. The eggs were fine, but had nothing special. Maybe it was difficult to get the full flavours without using garlic, but then tell us beforehand.

Hi Mm Keucher Firstly, that’s not our way of work. In second, if you had told us what you wrote here we might have solved the problem. About what our waiter told you, it’s true, a lot of Portuguese cuisine is based on garlic, but he made suggestions where he might not include garlic. He chose sardines, eggs with asparagus, tuna and beef, we only made the changes of not putting in tuna the sauce based on coriander and garlic and in the meat the Mirandesa sauce (which also takes garlic). The dishes were brought to the table by myself and was told by you to leave the meat for after eating the rest, is no excuse, but besides the lack of sauce and this time also did not help in the meat point. The fresh tuna tataki and beef are served with "fleur de sel" at the moment, could that be the reason for salty tuna? You have a dish with fresh eggs, asparagus and mushrooms of season and good Portuguese ham thats not reason to be a good harmony? To you seems to be just ok. If you return to Lisbon, visit us again. 10/10We found this restaurant just along the road from our hotel. We loved the ambience - cool and sophisticated - and the food was of a similar quality. Each of the dishes on offer was original, and, as they were small portions, it was possible to try out a combination of different choices. Mario's service was welcoming and personal. If we had been longer in LIsbon, we would certainly have gone again.
