This restaurant is always fantastic! The chef prepares a different menu every time and each small plate is delicious. The restaurant setting under big high arches is very cool. We always take our friends from out of town there and it never disappoints.

A great restaurant in a slightly tucked away location. Go for interesting and good food and very friendly service.

High-end, innovative and delicious food. Plates to share around the table and plenty to choose. The owners own wineries. Fine selection of their different sites.

Each of the small plates had its own interesting mix of flavours that had everyone around the table trying to dissect the ingredients and process--the sign of a great meal.

Expensive for price charged, even with 30% discount on food. Small portions, limited flavours and the worst octopus we had on our entire trip. Had to send octopus back as it was lukewarm and tough. Expected dish to be replaced at this price level but it was just reheated. Manager also seemed to have an attitude regarding our complaint. Wine by the glass very expensive compared to other restaurants of similar or better quality we ate at during our trip. Would not return.
OrquideaHi Stuart, I apologise for what happened, but I felt it was just a little lukewarm, so, I asked for it to be cooked a little longer in the frying pan. Once the octopus was returned, it was eaten in its entirety. I offered a complimentary glass of dessert wine because that. You didn’t give your opinion on the other dishes... the moqueca and the tuna! About the wine... The Price is In the menu, we Have some not so expensive wines... Was Your choice!!!

We were unfortunately very disappointed with our experience. We specifically asked for gluten-free options, but the food that was served to us clearly contained gluten. For anyone with dietary restrictions, this is not a small oversight but a serious issue. The menu presents Portuguese traditional dishes with a modern twist. Unfortunately, the reinterpretation does not improve the originals, quite the opposite. The bacalhau was particularly poor: dry, unbalanced in flavor, and far from the quality one would expect in Portugal. Service was also extremely slow, which made the overall experience even more frustrating. Sadly, we cannot recommend this restaurant.
OrquideaWe are grateful for your visit. We find your review very unfair and very much at odds with what other visitors have said. After being told that one of the guests was coeliac, I gave you the necessary warnings about what her could not eat from our menu. I provided gluten-free bread (korn and carob bread) as part of the couvert. Goat's cheese with toast served separately from the cheese - Gluten-free bread was already provided so that you could eat the cheese Cod confit (slow-cooked in olive oil) oven-roasted potatoes, broccoli and cheese sauce - how can something that is cooked slowly submerged in olive oil be dry? In addition, you ate all the cod, broccoli and sauce, leaving only the roasted potatoes (all mashed by you) Pork neck with potato gratin, fried egg and francesinha sauce (a typical sauce from northern Portugal) - The whole dish was eaten by the gluten-free person Please do not question my/our word when you apparently cannot distinguish what does and does not contain wheat flour HB (chef)

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was excellent, the restaurant itself was beautiful and the hosts were very generous with their time explaining the dishes.

Visited Lisbon for the first time so booked online as reviews looked excellent and close to our apartment. Lovely stylish restaurant, warm welcome, great service . Menu explained to us ( as we don’t speak Portuguese) with great recommendations. Food was absolutely lovely and the best chocolate mousse ever did live up to its name. Would definitely recommend and visit again

We were late due to traffic problems, but we were made welcome and no problem at all. Lovely food and good service.

Close and well located - nice ambience - good variety of Portuguese inspired menu options - staff could be a little more attentive (but a minor thing only)

Everything was delicious! Loved the pears with blue cheese, the duck, portobello mushroom. And, of course, the desserts!
