Very good food and v friendly staff. It’s not my first time there and everything I tasted is delicious .

+1The restaurant was supposed to be open at 7 pm but we had to wait outside til 715. The menu was a bit uninformative. Didn’t describe the sidedishes. There were some extra sides so that one would think you have to buy them separately. Nevertheless the food was very good and service was swift and polite.

Beautiful setting on the Cascais cliffs. Friendly owners. I very much enjoyed the entrecôte and the almond tart.

This was our second time back at Os Prazeres da Carne. I returned with high hopes as the view and ambience is great. Unfortunately the exact same scenario repeated itself as on the first visit. I ordered my steak medium, and explained to the server that I do not want there to be blood on the plate. When the steak arrived and I cut it open, blood poured onto my plate. It simply indicates that the steak was not rested after taking it off the grill. We called the server and explained it politely and carefully: he responded rudely with ‘I don’t know what you want’. To be clear: there was no language barrier as my partner also explained this in Portugese. He removed my plate and returned it with a completely overcooked steak that tasted like shoe-sole. I attach a picture for reference. The exact same scenario happened on our previous visit. It is regrettable that a restaurant that prides themselves on meat is not able to prepare it properly. We will not return.

returning customers for many many years. one just can not go wrong there. meat always, and i mean always, of perfect quality, which is not a given in many portuguese restaurants. location frankly there isnt anything better. sufficient staff who are clearly house trained, even if the place is full they remain attentive. question of organisation. try it out, u'll like it.

It was a delightful meal outdoors, overlooking a stunning view, and accompanied by the sunset. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's definitely worth choosing a meat-based option; everything from salads to main courses to desserts was delicious.

We have been coming to Os Prazeres da Carne for years and never has it dissapointed. Me and my wife strongly recommend this restaurant for everyone if you want to enjoy a unique atmosphere great service and fantastic and I mean fantastic steaks!

Everything was excellent, especially the service. In Lisbon, it’s rare to find such attentive waiters, but this was the first time in a year I’ve seen service done right. Everything was quick, on time, and polite. The food was decent, not extraordinary, but enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great place to spend time with family or friends. I recommend it for the nice atmosphere and fair prices.

The food was exceptional. Have not been for a few years but worth the visit. The staff are engaging, helpful, knowledgeable and super friendly - just perfect to match the food.

The service was impeccable. Nuno took wonderful care of us and the owners checked in frequently. The view of the water and cliffs was beautiful. Our party of four all agreed that the food was the best or second best we had in two weeks travelling in Spain and Portugal. Overall a wonderful experience.

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was great. Nice location (looking over the sea). Only criticism was that when we arrived it wasn’t clear where the restaurant was. Area around it was dirty and not well presented. If you are wearing high heels it’s a nightmare!

Such a great place. The meat platter is wonderful. The service is excellent. The view is spectacular. The background music is very soft and unobtrusive. We love this place.

Very good place. The atmospheric was excellent overlooking the water with stunning views. The food was very good. I had the duck and my husband enjoyed the steak with chimichurri sauce.

I'm happy to see that they survived the BIG storm. Trees fell all around but none hit the restaurant. Still the same great place it has be as long as I have lived in the area.

All the meats were perfectly prepared and with good sides. Happy to have a good option of a meat also on the kids menu, not just burger and fries like sometimes. Good and quick service, overall happy. Only downside is the building works outside the restaurant, but once you're in there is no issue anymore. I would go again.

The welcome was good and the service excellent. As usual the food was excellent and we had a really enjoyable evening.
