8/10food was excellent, but a bit overpriced for my opinion. Even with the discount on and having not consumed alcohol the bill was still high. Everywhere these days got more expensive so thats how it is

10/10Really nice comfortable atmosphere, unpretentious but artistic. All the food we ordered was great. Tasty traditional plates and then some house specialties with a twist of originality. I ordered beef which was very tender and flavorful and a soup with asparagus and shrimp , very yummy and comforting. Attentive friendly service, good local wine and fair prices. Overall excellent !!

+3alian food.I was so grateful and I was so grateful and intrigued by the kind and handsome man who seemed to be the CEO serving us. There were only a few staff members who spoke English, but those who spoke English well were polite and kind, so we enjoyed a delicious dinner and local beer. Even though we made a reservation for 9:30 PM, most of the tables were full, so I realized that this was a local restaurant. 8/10It was our last night in Lucca and we didn’t want to go inside the wall but closer in short walking distance. It was Sunday, most restaurants were closed, but this one was open and so easy to reserve a table online. Arrived there on time and our table was already set nicely for us to start our dinner. Food was good and great customer service. Highly recommend this nice little restaurant.

Excellent medium-size neighborhood restaurant where quality of food is superseded only by hospitality! Whether you crave for pizza, or seafood, or meat you’d be happy to find them in Osteria al Borgo. Bravi Niko, Roberto, Alberto, and cameriera Angelina. We had a great time and good meal last night, April 21, 2024.

10/10even though we were informed in advance that there were no pizzas, this was not an insurmountable obstacle. the other choice of delicious mouth watering. very friendly service and we will definitely be back next year. this is a must for anyone going to Lucca.

We made reservations through The Fork. We had to reschedule and that was possible through The Fork as well. Very easy to use, especially when you are in a foreign country. Having timeslots with deduction on the bill for the food is a nice bonus. We visited as a family with two adults and 1 child and 1 teenager. About the restaurant then. We came for pizza, too bad that the oven was broken. The people at the restaurant apologized and tried to ease up the obvious disappointment of my children by preparing some special appetizer. That was a nice gesture. The appetizer we ordered was melon, with ham and mozzarella. That was put on the plate looking like a dessert of icecream and such. Looked great and the taste was good. Then we had a chicken leg with baked potatoes and salad. That tasted good and the amount was enough for us. Also we ordered a pasta dish with pepper and cheese. The dish felt a little less special, but it was fine. For dessert my children ordered a tiramisu and cheesecake and they liked it a lot. It tasted really good. We drank just some soda's and coffee. Price was good for them. Service was very good. We felt welcome. We asked to lower the volume of the music a bit and that was done without hesitation or a bad look. Explanation of the menu was available in English on our smartphone, and we got an English explanation of the daily specials. The interior of the restaurant is nice, not clinical but more warm and cosy. I would have a romantic dinner there. All in all we went out with a good, happy feeling. We think the prices of the food and the drinks are well in proportion. Grazie mille for this evening to the team.

8/10We are travellers from Australia. We found the menu interesting, the food enjoyable, there were vegetables on offer, and the prices were very reasonable. There were a few bottled beers and only house wine. We've been more than once.
