10/10We’ve dined at Antica Marina several times, and the food has consistently been excellent—no matter what we’ve ordered. The wine list offers a great selection, including some outstanding high-end labels that are well worth exploring. The service is always attentive and professional, and the atmosphere is uniquely charming, especially considering the restaurant is located in an area that functions as a bustling fish market during the day. We’ll definitely be back!

10/10This place may not look much from the outside buy it has everything I love in a restaurant, great fresh local food (fish) and well trained staff. To visit the fish market during the day you really understand what makes this place special. Would recommend to anyone staying in Catania

I visited it for the first time in 15 years. The food was still delicious. The menu has become more systematic. I remember it used to be completely chef’s choice’s style. So, I added my favorite granita by myself as a dessert. The taste is still very delicious.

The charred octopus appetizer was very tasty but a bit chewy for my taste. The pasta with shrimp was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it. As a single diner, my reserved table was not optimum, but when I asked, I was able to get a better table. It probably helped that I was early. I had a nice view and the service was efficient.

This food is the best in Catania. I had great service, he explained the menu and gave great recommendations. I recommend the apertivo plate- you get a great sense of all the dishes unique to Sicily. The fish was so fresh and excellent in the sampler dishes. I also got a ravioli with almond pesto which was also excellent.

10/10We never miss a lunch here if we are visiting Catania. The seafood is fresh, the pasta and salads are creative with homemade pasta, and the staff is welcoming and always friendly and patient with our language barriers. Every detail is carefully thought out and we appreciate it so much.

10/10Excellent food, with a good selection of fresh fish and very professional service. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Cozy atmosphere in a nice and quiet location a few meters distance from Sant Agata church. Price was very reasonable. It was our best food experience in Catania.

6/10Decent food, but expensive for what it is. Many waiters wandering around and not giving any service. There are much better restaurants around, even the same stalls in the fish market at a fraction of what you pay.

Had been recommended this spot next to the fish market in Catania. It did not disappoint. Possibly the best fish we have ever eaten. Washed down with a crisp delicious local white wine. Great food. Great value. Great service. Will be returning for sure.

7.5/10Lovely food. We had the special seafood platter starter and it was excellent. Service mostly great - they did get some of the orders mixed up but soon rectified. They ordered us a taxi which came instantly. Sat outside in the evening which is a little quirky with trains going over bridge only 50 yards away and empty fish stalls next to us but not unpleasant. Unfortunately we were subject to several street hawkers selling flowers etc and also a very overweight family begging as they had ‘nothing to eat’. They went away fairly quickly but think it would have been nicer to sit inside.
