This is a go to restaurant for us when we visit Catania. Excellent fresh seafood creatively prepared and the best caponata! Fun to eat outside and enjoy the fish market activity. Reservations recommended.

The service was extremely poor, even to the point of indifference. We had to ask for everything more than once either by waving down a server and even going to the check-in host - still water, ice bucket for wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar (salad dressing), our ticket. It felt like we were an inconvenience. Food was mediocre. Prawns were small. Salad was a mix of 2 lettuces - nothing else. The swordfish in the carbonara were very small- between minced and chopped.

We’ve dined at Antica Marina several times, and the food has consistently been excellent—no matter what we’ve ordered. The wine list offers a great selection, including some outstanding high-end labels that are well worth exploring. The service is always attentive and professional, and the atmosphere is uniquely charming, especially considering the restaurant is located in an area that functions as a bustling fish market during the day. We’ll definitely be back!

This place may not look much from the outside buy it has everything I love in a restaurant, great fresh local food (fish) and well trained staff. To visit the fish market during the day you really understand what makes this place special. Would recommend to anyone staying in Catania

We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the authentic Catania restaurant located right in the middle of the fish market. Our food was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly.
