10/10Had the Pici con pomodoro, branzino, and mixed salad. Food was fantastic. The potatoes with the branzino were some of the best I’ve ever had. Wait staff was very attentive. Will definitely be back when we’re in Florence.

10/10The food was perfect - we ordered sirloin steak, pasta, and tomatoes soup. They were all so good, especially the steak and pasta. Top quality olive oil with fresh meat and veggie at affordable price i loved it. The ambience was perfect and the people were very nice. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience at Osteria Caffè Italiano. From the moment we arrived, the staff were genuinely welcoming and even accommodated our special request by arranging the perfect seating for us to enjoy our evening. The dry-aged Vacca Vecchia served on a sizzling plate was exceptional—juicy, tender, and full of flavour, with a portion perfectly sized for two people. The roasted potatoes were perfectly cooked with a great crisp, while the spinach and salad were fresh, vibrant, and well-seasoned. The tiramisu was amazing: light, creamy, and the perfect finish to the meal. Even the bread stood out, soft on the inside with a wonderfully crispy crust. Overall, it was the perfect welcome dinner in Florence, combining authentic flavours, warm service, and a cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city who wants a memorable and satisfying dining experience. We will definitely revisit on our next trip.

Absolutely loved this place. Amazing food and lovely staff. We got the carbonara, the lamb, and the chicken with Parmesan fondue dishes. They were sooo delicious! We had cantuccio with Vin Santo and tiramisú for dessert. Loved those too. And the staff was so welcoming! We had to change a side from the main dish and it really felt it wasn’t a problem. Absolutely recommend. Will try to go again!

9.5/10The food here was very good. My husband has the lamb chops and they were fork tender and very flavorful and juicy. I had the tenderloin and it was perfectly cooked, very tender and had great flavor. The desert was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Traditional Tuscan cuisine in a lively elegant setting. We particularly enjoyed our veal escalopes (scallopine de vitello) and dunking the cantucci into the vin santo to end a wonderful evening.

10/10Fantastic ambiance. Service and food. My wife had sea bass and I the fillet steak. Both were cooked to perfection! Great choice of wines. So good we rebooked for the following night
