Really really enjoyed our meal! Absolutely beautiful interior, felt very fancy but comfortable. Great and reasonably priced wine. Lovely food. Incredible service, couldn’t fault it. Would highly recommend

10/10Fantastic meal in historic surroundings. We identified this restaurant from the rough guide and we weren’t disappointed. Sophisticated decor and every dish was expertly made. Really good value.

10/10We ate here a couple of times with different visiting family members and each time we had a dependably excellent meal. Between us all we have sampled a wide range of the menu options and everyone was delighted with their choice every time. The atmosphere is great and the place is quite something, with the high vaulted ceilings and extremely thick walls of the original palazzo that houses it. Service is excellent. Great value too.

5/10Attending a New Year's Eve dinner, we anticipated a culinary delight, especially given the restaurant's Tuscan setting. However, our experience fell short of these expectations. The Bistecca Toscana, a regional specialty, surprisingly lacked in quality. It had a slightly gamey taste and lacked tenderness, which was unexpected for a dish of this caliber. Equally disappointing was the truffle burrata ravioli. While promising in concept, it turned out bland, failing to capitalize on the potential of its ingredients to create a truly flavorful experience. Although the meal was overall satisfying and filled us up, it didn't live up to the high standards we had envisioned. These dishes, in their beautiful simplicity, had the potential to be outstanding, yet they regrettably missed the mark.

8/10Grilled prawns had texture like frozen/overcooked. Poppa al pomordo was average. Chicken with lemon was bland. Dessert was good. Felt expensive for what we got, esp compared to other places in the neighborhood.

6/10The waiters weren’t very pleasant. First of all we were a group of 4, and they forgot 2 of our main plates, which meant 2 person ended up eating 1 hour later than the others. Also we overhead another table, that the waiter judged a couple for not finishing their pizza… I think that’s super disrespectful.

3/10Very negative experience on our last night in Florence. Servers essentially ignored us after bringing the food. We were originally excited about ordering dessert there, but they never checked on our table. Not to offer a dessert menu nor even to bring the bill. They basically acted like we did not exist and eventually started shutting down the restaurant with us still sitting there. We had to go and ask to pay ourselves. Again, very negative experience.

8.5/10The pizzas with tomato sauce were a little soggy but the dough is spectacular - FYI there’s a €3 service fee / cover charge per person under “coperto”. Music selection was strange but the decor and ambiance was amazing.

8.5/10Great looking restaurant with excellent staff. Food was very good though not spectacular. The bistecca was served on a sizzling platter which whilst very theatrical meant that the steak kept cooking and didn’t get the chance to relax. Truffle pasta was excellent.
