The food here was very good. My husband has the lamb chops and they were fork tender and very flavorful and juicy. I had the tenderloin and it was perfectly cooked, very tender and had great flavor. The desert was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Traditional Tuscan cuisine in a lively elegant setting. We particularly enjoyed our veal escalopes (scallopine de vitello) and dunking the cantucci into the vin santo to end a wonderful evening.

Seven of us dined last night. The veal and steak dinners came out of the kitchen cold and at least 5 minutes before the 5 pasta dishes (which were hot). Service, in general, was slow, but she was very nice.

Carbonara is not that good, you barely feel anything else besides de the pepper. It is also too much salty so I recommend avoiding it. In my opinion prices are a bit too high compared to the quality of the plates. Otherwise it was ok.

We had an amazing dinner at Osteria Caffe Italiano. We started with the Prosciutto and Melon which was fresh and tasty. The raviolis with butter & Sage was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. Service was both professional and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant!

The food and service here were excellent. I had the grilled seafood which was served with potatoes, tomatoes, olives and capers and my boyfriend had the grilled lamb which he enjoyed immensely. We had the dark chocolate pear panna cotta - delicious. I would return here.

At Osteria Caffe Italiano, we tried the Risotto and the Dry-Aged Florentine Steak. The risotto was one of best I’ve ever tried, however, the steak was not the best. It was a bit too chewy for my liking. Also, the service was not great. We felt like the waiters were sometimes ignoring us and did not give us their full attention. We just felt a bit ignored, to be honest. Overall, it is a good place to eat but there are areas of opportunity to improve!

Beautiful restaurant set in a historic building. Food was delicious best meal in Florence so far - staff very attentive and friendly. Will return when back in Florence for sure.
