My wife and I had a FABULOUS meal last night here. Perhaps the best meal we have had in Florence. It is a bit out of the way from center of town. It worth the walk. It is a friendly and romantic place with excellent service and a good vibe, perfect after long day of touring. The steak was one of the best we have ever had! Excellent wine list too. Special place!

Our lunch was amazing! We had the bistecca al fiorentina, truffle and porcini pastas, liver crostini and brushchetta, plus Fagioli beans. It was wonderful and so delicious. Lori, our server, was a warm and lovely host. This restaurant is close to Santa Croce, just far enough outside of the tourist area which was rammed with people. This is the Firenze I came to love 30 years ago; I hitch Sems to be slipping away in many places. Not here. I highly recommend it. Bravo! Brava! Grazie Mille!

We had an amazing experience! We made a reservation and requested to sit outside. When we arrived a little early, the staff was very kind and our table was already ready for us on the terrace. We had pasta with truffles, risotto, white wine, and the tiramisu was incredible! To finish, we were offered a glass of limoncello. Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had.

Super cool ambience inside the restaurant. Waitress was great - whole wait staff was super friendly/helpful to their customers. Everyone loved their food - we got the florentine t-bone steak, il tagliolino, and il bosccaiolo. T-bone steak was well worth the money.

One of my favorite restaurants in Florence. Amazing food, ambience, and service. I always get a hugo spritz when I’m here, they make them so good. Can’t go wrong with anything you order. I love the Pappardelle with the boar sauce and the truffle pasta. Also, the Florentine steak is so good, one of my favorite things to get here. Amazing place!!

Adorable set up and friendly staff. Food is outstanding and perfect for solo travelers as they have some 375mls on the menu if you want more than a glass but less than a whole bottle. Ambiance is calm and inviting! Exactly what I was looking for. Outstanding cacio e pepe along with a lovely bruschetta for appetizer. Would recommend to small groups, couples, and solos alike!

Nice restaurant, tastefully decorated, back room air conditioned. Service was generally good but one course came very late for one of 4 guests when all others were finished with their meals. The food was good, well presented, but nothing of outstanding note. We had salads, pasta, liver starter & charred octopus.

Wow. This was an unexpected treasure! The inside vibe of the restaurant is so charming and the staff extremely welcoming. They made the best recommendations. And the food was equally amazing. We had to order Florentine steak and they even brought it to our table and weighed it before grilling it. HIGHLY recommend if you are in Florence. Make a reservation!

Poor service. Ordered a pre dinner negroni that took 30 minutes to arrive. Ended up drinking it with the meal and never offered anything more. The food quality was average at best, and the prices are high. The highly rated reviews of this place are clearly false. A tourist trap.

Hello dear Darby Than you for having dinner by our restaurant First of all your reservations was in 8:00 pm and you came 30 minutes late, and we did our best and found table for you. But that is not all! On the moment that you sat in your table you wanted to order immediately the drinks and the food where there was other tables waiting. Your Negroni took just 6 minutes to be ready and this I can declare because everything is documented in our system. I don't know what do you mean with 'never offered anything more' but we we brought you what you ordered and in the meat we offered a free limoncello to you There is a lot of people who apprise our quality of food that we work hard every day, so I will not consider your opinion! The reviews are REAL as we are, not false as you are. Is better you stop doing the tourist around Thank you!
