Everything about this restaurant was stellar! The food - exceptional. Great selection, well prepared. The staff extremely attentive to the customers. I was having a hot flash walking in and the host noticed and put the Air conditioner on for a short bit while I acclimated. The best was the ambiance. The interior is so cozy and beautifully decorated. Jazz music played in the background really making the entire meal a true pleasure. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Florence.

Our journey in Florence we've started from this cozy Osteria. Would recommend this place to visit. Food, service, atmosphere are on good level. No problem if you don't know Italian, waiter/barista (my bad, I don't remember the name of him) will help you with a choice or give any kind of advice on English 🙂

Really superb. The restaurant has a great, welcoming ambience, the staff are very friendly but also highly professional and knowledgeable about the food. And the food it self was delicious. A reassuringly limited menu of regional specialties, everything we ate was top notch. We would return in a heartbeat.

We asked for an English menu, they didn't have one, the waitress said we didn't expect tourists on new year's eve suggested we use Google translate. . Food was average at best. we walked 20 minutes from the centre to get there, nothing special at all.

What a delightful restaurant. Fantastic staff, Carmella and Chris made us feel welcome and looked after us impeccably, all with smiles. The food was outstanding, we had the tasting of pecorini cheeses and jams, then the crispy octopus and beef, lard and truffle which were all delicious. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

In our restaurant, people don’t just “fill their stomachs” — they eat well, with fresh ingredients and dishes prepared with care and passion every day. You cleaned all the plates with bread and deboned all the steak, it didn't look like you didn't like the food. We always welcome constructive feedback, but superficial judgments don’t reflect the reality of our work or the experience we offer to those who truly know us.

Too expensive for the food especially rind delivered. Big part of the meat was bone, fat, burned or not enough cooked. So from 1.6 kg meat there left maybe only 0.6 kg to eat. But you pay for 1.6 kg. So at the end, everybody is still hungry.

This is how real Florentine-style cuts are meant to be enjoyed. We use only top-quality meat, carefully selected from trusted suppliers, and our guests usually value both the taste and the portion. We’re sorry if this didn’t meet your expectations, but this is how genuine Florentine cuisine is done — and we’re proud to keep that standard. Good Food plus service. Where do I start, just got back from Florence and booked this restaurant for four of us. Oh Wow what a beautiful dining experience, the waitress was so fun and welcoming the steak was amazing (best iv ever tasted) great food great wine and best of all great service and the decor is authentically pleasing. If you visit Florence you have to try this restaurant. If I’m ever lucky enough to go back I would book this restaurant more then once.

Having never had the famous florentina steak, we thought why not and it was a beautiful bit of meat, certain parts are a bit chewy but it's incredibly flavourful, waitress was rushed off her feet training a new waiter as well as serving every table. lovely setting inside.
