What a delightful restaurant. Fantastic staff, Carmella and Chris made us feel welcome and looked after us impeccably, all with smiles. The food was outstanding, we had the tasting of pecorini cheeses and jams, then the crispy octopus and beef, lard and truffle which were all delicious. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

Hello Julie We’re genuinely surprised by your comment, especially since the vast majority of our guests recognize the quality of our food and service. In our restaurant, people don’t just “fill their stomachs” — they eat well, with fresh ingredients and dishes prepared with care and passion every day. You cleaned all the plates with bread and deboned all the steak, it didn't look like you didn't like the food. We always welcome constructive feedback, but superficial judgments don’t reflect the reality of our work or the experience we offer to those who truly know us.

Too expensive for the food especially rind delivered. Big part of the meat was bone, fat, burned or not enough cooked. So from 1.6 kg meat there left maybe only 0.6 kg to eat. But you pay for 1.6 kg. So at the end, everybody is still hungry.

This is how real Florentine-style cuts are meant to be enjoyed. We use only top-quality meat, carefully selected from trusted suppliers, and our guests usually value both the taste and the portion. We’re sorry if this didn’t meet your expectations, but this is how genuine Florentine cuisine is done — and we’re proud to keep that standard. Very very beautiful inside, the service is wonderful and the food is really good. Only reason I have 4 star instead of 5 on food is the desserts were just ok. Everything else though was great!

Good Food plus service. Where do I start, just got back from Florence and booked this restaurant for four of us. Oh Wow what a beautiful dining experience, the waitress was so fun and welcoming the steak was amazing (best iv ever tasted) great food great wine and best of all great service and the decor is authentically pleasing. If you visit Florence you have to try this restaurant. If I’m ever lucky enough to go back I would book this restaurant more then once.

The staff was incredible. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome and appreciated. The steak was delicious. The wine was fantastic. Having never had the famous florentina steak, we thought why not and it was a beautiful bit of meat, certain parts are a bit chewy but it's incredibly flavourful, waitress was rushed off her feet training a new waiter as well as serving every table. lovely setting inside.

My wife and I had a FABULOUS meal last night here. Perhaps the best meal we have had in Florence. It is a bit out of the way from center of town. It worth the walk. It is a friendly and romantic place with excellent service and a good vibe, perfect after long day of touring. The steak was one of the best we have ever had! Excellent wine list too. Special place!

Our lunch was amazing! We had the bistecca al fiorentina, truffle and porcini pastas, liver crostini and brushchetta, plus Fagioli beans. It was wonderful and so delicious. Lori, our server, was a warm and lovely host. This restaurant is close to Santa Croce, just far enough outside of the tourist area which was rammed with people. This is the Firenze I came to love 30 years ago; I hitch Sems to be slipping away in many places. Not here. I highly recommend it. Bravo! Brava! Grazie Mille!

We had an amazing experience! We made a reservation and requested to sit outside. When we arrived a little early, the staff was very kind and our table was already ready for us on the terrace. We had pasta with truffles, risotto, white wine, and the tiramisu was incredible! To finish, we were offered a glass of limoncello. Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had.
