After 2 weeks of being in this beautiful Tuscan region and trying restaurants near and far from our Villa we stumble upon this absolute Gem ,right here in our own backyard...Just 12 mind from us. Right from the moment we arrived we were greeted with kindness and excitement. The night exponentially got better as ot went on. The food,the libations and the deserts were AMAZING. If you or anyone you know is in the area of Scandicci, you must go to Osteria da Mordicchio.

The app Fork afforded us to book for a 6:30 pm reservation but they did not open until 7 pm. Other than that, the food was great, the steaks were cooked to a medium rare which was made even delicious with the right saltiness and tartufo flavor. We are wanting to go back. The salads did not have much dressing. The restaurant had a good ambience. Our food server was attentive and friendly.

We were in Rome for 4 days and Tuscany for a week. Osteria da Mordicchio was the best food we ate during our time. The food and service was amazing! Highly recommend!
