Ambiance was good but the welcome cold and the service just fine . Wine suggestion was excellent but food mediocre . Portions with no reason very small - and my lamb was not tender . The whole experience rather disappointing . Could be better .

Each dish was amazing. You are required to select at least two courses. I had salad with vegetables in aspic. Delicious!! Followed by grilled lamb. Again delicious. We sat outside. Probably the best meal in Italy so far. Amazing.

The best dessert we've ever had. And we've had a lot of desserts. Brilliant service, amazing atmosphere, staff very welcoming and friendly.

We booked a table for lunch here as the restaurant is in the Guide Michelin and close to the historic centre. We were the only people there for most of the time, but another couple arrived after a while. The staff were very friendly and had menus in English. The amuse bouche were delicious, as was the bread. Our two courses were beautifully presented and very tasty, as were the petit fours we were given at the end of the meal. We had two glasses of wine chosen by the waiter and both were lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend this restaurant.

I liked the pasta dish, but unfortunately did not enjoy the fish quality of the amberjack main dish.

Great ambiance but with underwhelming food and obscene pricing. Better food and value are to be found elsewhere.

The food was awful, very fussy and priced like a Michelin star restaurant in NYC. Maybe, we just ordered on a bad night for the chef. The restaurant ambience was delightful and staff were efficient and nice.

The service was excellent. The food was not very good. We did a tasting menu and I (and others at the table) thought that it was poorly done. The food combinations of the various plates seemed to be poorly planned. The wine recommendations were excellent. All in all, good service, good wine, poor food.

cozy restaurant, but the food was definitely very disappointing for the price. no taste, basic dishes that try to appear gourmet. I would not recommend it.

My family and I were very excited to try Osteria dei Vespri. The restaurant was recommended from a dear friend of mine that lives in Palermo. The food presentation was lovely. A beautiful restaurant in a wonderful little plaza. The restaurant quiet and clean, and the host and the restaurant were very kind and lovely to my son. Unfortunately the elephant in the room was the taste of the food. Overpowering flavors like red peppercorn on several dishes. The lack of salt and umami and every dish. Extremely overpriced for a small Osteria. I wish the food was a lot better. I would’ve definitely came back for the ambience.

Everything, from the moment we were welcomed, through to the end of our visit was perfection. The service people were knowledgeable and respectful and professional yet warm and welcoming. The food was superb. My friend and I shared the Sea Tasting Menu and the Vegetarian Tasting menu and both felt we had picked the best! The sommelier recommended a beautiful wine within our price point that paired beautifully with each course, including the dessert. Noi siammo molto contento with our experience at Osterio dei Vespri. Excellent location and very nice service. However, they several times did not manage to bring my wine pairing before serving the dish. The food quality is good but not excellent. Cannot recommend the tuna. Was overcooked. Wine paring for this dish was good though. Would recommend to go there for ambience - not food quality.

Was a great place off the beaten path. Loved the associated wine bar next door. A little expensive especially given the neighbouring restaurant options. Strongly recommend the Terra tasting menu over the Mare menu.

Excellent service. Fabulous sommelier service provided by Cecilia, which really made our night special. She really married very well different wines to the various plates we had including finding a nice red for one of the (Fish menu) courses. The food in general was good, but not in my opinion of such a level as to demand the prices charged. It was expensive. With improvements to the food, I’d happily go back for the excellent service.

Italian fine dining always is a challenge. Here at Vespri again, missing salt acidity and simply the twist from good to great was missing.

This great restaurant is located in a nice piazza and offers indoor and outdoor dining. The service is excellent, the sommelier knowledgeable and the food delicious, served at good temperature and properly paced. The staff accommodating and makes you feel at home. I recommend this restaurant to anybody no matter the occasion!.

Food was really underwhelming and overpriced. They also charged us €15 for bread we didn’t ask for or eat which was disappointing. Cocktails were good though.

We had a great dining experience last week. The piazza is very nice in the evening. The service is amazing. We shared two pastas and a dessert. All was amazing! The octopus ragu was awesome.
