Decided to go after a concert nearby. It’s a lovely place, our waiters were so nice, helpful and the food was delicious. We live in Florence but this was our first visit. We will be regulars. Grazie

What an enjoyable meal. Our meal was served piping hot a nice proportion and made with fresh ingredients. Our waiter was extremely accommodating as we changed our reservation on short notice. Will frequent again when we return in the future.

The food was yummy, pasta was al dente with rich sauces. Indeed, the hospitality from the waiter ( I didn’t ask for his name, should be the tallest and slimiest one with sharp hairstyles) was impeccable. His attention and help completes the entire dinner into a pleasant one. Really appreciated for his service! Big thanks to him and wish him to receive an award from the restaurant for his excellence!

Beautiful Bistecca! We ordered the chips with truffles as well as Cinghale and pasta. Wonderful! We had very attentive service for our family group of 7. Close to our hotel and right in the center of Florence. Perfect!

It’s our first night in Florence and the Cat and the Fox certainly helped make it special. They add walnuts and honey to the rich and creamy burrata making for a sublime starter dish. The risotto was tender and flavorful. The Spinach side was as good as any. But the star of the show is the Bisteca Florentine. I heard you can get a good steak at any number of places. I knew that when the aroma of the steak hit that I was in for a treat. They present the steak cut from the bone on a sizzling platter. I can’t give enough superlatives to express how good this is so I will just say it is a damn good piece of meat. We were too full from polishing off the dinner to have dessert. Maybe next time.

My pasta dish was “di mare”. The fish in this dish was minute cut pieces of fish and not much of it. My friends steak was topped with blueberry sauce! Way to ruin a good steak! House wine was not to my taste. I like a full body red wine and it was not. Was going to order dessert but just wanted out of the restaurant! Also most menus in Italy have English descriptions under the Italian. They do not have any English but a scan to do in your phone to translate! Couldn’t figure it out!!
