10/10Fosyia was a wonderful server and it looked like he was on his own. He was able to take care of everyone. The food was amazing as usual. It’s always a must when we come back to Florence.

10/10We had a lovely dining experience at Osteria del Gatto e la Volpe. The restaurant has a beautiful aesthetic with a peaceful and welcoming ambiance. We tried the Pici alla Carbonara di Mare—it was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and well-prepared Italian cuisine.

2/10We wrote a good review on Google. Generally, we were happy with our experience there. But then, after we paid the bill, we were given the itemized receipt and noticed that we were. not given the Fork discount. (It should have been 50 percent, but no discount at all was given.) I showed the itemized receipt to the waiter, and he said that we were given the discount, when in fact we were not. We paid full price, and I have the receipt to prove it. The fact that the waiter lied to us is most upsetting. We have been to the restaurant before, as we live in Florence, but we will not go back again.

6/10The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. The waitstaff seemed inattentive and disengaged, which negatively affected the overall experience. At full price, it doesn’t feel worth the money. However, it’s a decent option if you have a discount through The Fork.

8/10They seated us in the aisle, although there were better seats. Apparently, those who came with a discount from Fork were given only such seats. At first, there was no discount on the bill, I had to remind them. The waiter was not very friendly. Part of the wine list is missing.

We arrived at 7:50, asked for a carbonara and the chef's pick of Florence steak. The carbonara arrived at 8:50 and it was very good, up until we requested the staff was very pleasant. Afterwards everything turned south. The steak took around another hour or so to come and it came so well done to the point it was burnt in some areas. It wasn't enjoyable at all and although after complaining to the staff they asked if we wanted another one it simply shouldn't even have come to the table and a steak shouldn't take over an hour to be served. We would have accepted but at this point we were in the restaurant for over 2h and possibly waiting another one was out of the question. The service continued to fail as we had to wait yet again to pay and leave.

10/10Amazing place with a fantastic atmosphere and incredibly polite staff! The "IL FILETTO AI MIRTILLI" is absolutely divine—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this dish for anyone looking to try something truly special. From start to finish, this dining experience exceeded all expectations. Can’t wait to visit again!

The meat Fiorentina steak was bad the pasta was good but the main plate cost €99 a kilo and it wasn’t good I ordered 1.5kg medium and 2 pasta plate . Not recommended that place the manager fight with the workers and full disrespecting . Entry plate was good.

Could you please explain what you meant by "fight with the workers"? We strive to maintain a respectful and professional environment for both our staff and customers, and we take such concerns seriously. Regarding the situation you mentioned, I am aware of the incident you are referring to. I, as the manager, was at the cash register handling some operations when a misunderstanding occurred between two of our waitstaff regarding the conversion between pounds and kilograms. It was a simple miscommunication, and there was no argument or disrespect involved. We kindly ask that reviews reflect the actual events, as we work hard to provide the best service and experience to all of our guests. 10/10Decided to go after a concert nearby. It’s a lovely place, our waiters were so nice, helpful and the food was delicious. We live in Florence but this was our first visit. We will be regulars. Grazie

9.5/10What an enjoyable meal. Our meal was served piping hot a nice proportion and made with fresh ingredients. Our waiter was extremely accommodating as we changed our reservation on short notice. Will frequent again when we return in the future.
