This was a very special experience in Rome. We chose the 4 course menu, which included 3 more dessert tastings. Especially memorable were the pappardelle with with genovese Mangalica, and the duck. We would love to come back and have full size portions of these. The service was excellent, attentive and welcoming. The room is modern but cozy. We sat on the upper level near the kitchen window. Must try! Grazie Mille.

very ambitious menu with an elegance in good combination with what your eyes sees. We took the 10 course menu and found tha the risotto was a bit 'heavy'. The waiter could do a little better with the wine pairing. Lack of elegance with the menu

Looks good but I didn't feel the food was balanced as well. I felt like it was the kind of place which focusses a lot on presentation vs overall flavour. A lot of the courses were over or under seasoned.

The restaurant is well-appointed, though somewhat minimalistic, very clean, and spacious. Cooking is exceptionally good, well prepared, masterfully presented, with an excellent wine list which is well-priced and well-curated. The staff was super-attentive and helpful, even though their English was not always on par - they were trying extremely hard to please and help, well beyond what was asked. The restaurant is located far away and it takes time to get there but it is absolutely worth it. The quality of preparation, the technique, and the way food was presented is second to none. An absolutely fine establishment with a young and very talented staff to boot. Kudos! I see some stars in their future...

We were a group of five and all did the extended tasting menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very welcoming and the owner came to greet us several times during our meal. The food was spot on. You could taste every flavor in each dish. The only negative was the initial lag in service. We were seated for over 15 minutes before we were greeted at the table and it took another 30 minutes to get our bottle of wine. Some food had even been served by that point. But once service got going, it flowed seamlessly and every course was as delicious as the last.

Menu and the vision of the chefs was very hard to understand with the flavour and combination, flovour was very flat and boring.Service seem look a bit unorganised .

the menu was tasty, some courses too smokey for my personal taste. service felt unorganised and unmotivated compared to many other places in rome.

The food was very creative and carefully prepared, with plenty of small amuse-bouches, four different kinds of bread, and a nice wine list to choose from. However, the combination of ingredients did not please us. Perhaps it's a matter of personal taste; other people might enjoy it. My wife had pasta flavoured with green tea; she found that the green tea flavour was too strong. I had a meat course in which the combination of sauces did not please me either. The service was very good and you can see that the chef tries hard to be creative... but the end result was not to our taste.

The food was great (especially the beef) and the service was outstanding. They even agreed to change some parts of the menu to meet our tastes. In addition to that, the atmosphere is beautiful with subdued light. I would definitely recommend it !

While the staff was superb with their attention, explanation, and care, the food was absolutely horrific. We knew going in that this was more 'experimental' than what we are used to, but none of the food items, with the exception of the complimentary bread was worth the immense bill we had to absorb. For those whose palettes are refined enough for wood pigeon, chicken liver patte, deconstructed "soup" and other extraordinarily 'different' items, more power to you. We do not recommend.

we had xmas lunch here and the food was superb. the menu was so well curated and every course was interesting and often surprising. the service was fab as well, many thanks to all the staff for making our xmas lunch such a wonderful experience.

+6Delicious tasting menu in a nice atmosphere at Osteria Fernada. Every single dish that came out was well presented and very tasty. Service was also very attentive and explained the dishes very well.

This was really special. It took some finding and is away from the established restaurant locations but DONT be put off as you will experience rare tastes and flavours . The best meal we had by a country mile !

Some courses were great but others were too heavy. Overall hit or miss. If they can get all the courses to be as good as the cuddlefish and steak, this place would be amazing.

This is a great restaurant with a mission. Contemporary Italian style food with a very high quality level and finesse. We had the 4-course menu which was beyond my expectations in terms of size. Plenty of food and we loved it. Small appetizers here and there and you can see that the kitchen and staff really loves working with the concept. Very attentive staff with in-depth understanding of the wine list which by the way is very comprehensive with good quality wines. The is a highly recommendable restaurant that will not disappoint you.

+2I don't know enough about food or dining experience to give a sophisticated or nuanced review for a place like this but I do know that I really enjoyed the food, and I think that's the main thing. We had the fish and seafood set menu and it was lovely - alongside it we were given additional 'finger foods' to try, a 'pre' dessert and sweets to accompany our coffee. Very big selection of wine, and when our choice wasn't available we were recommended something to our taste and it was perfect. Staff were also lovely, as well as the atmosphere inside. Hopefully a place I can return to at some point

Very bad dinner, bad tasting food, bad service, beey noisy restaurant. Wprst dimmer in Rome. They charged all plates despite ee dis not touch the pasta and the artichokes. The chef welcome treat was disgusting

Amazing food and wine! Loved the dishes and the atmosphere. The only no was the location, which is a bit far from the historic part of Trastevere. Otherwise everything perfect, will have lunch or dinner here again soon!

All of the dishes were well-plated and inventive but lacking in flavor. None of the dishes on 75 euro tasting menu were good enough to make me want to return.

Very nice atmosphere, food is delicious with great mix of flavors. Service is also very good and friendly. Can just recommend you to go an try this place
