Easy to book. Prompt service. Glass of wine was small for the price. Pasta tasted fresh. Meat sauce could have been better. I found a small bone in my dish and informed the waiter at the end of the meal. Poor response. Not that interested. Won’t be going back.

Alessandra was great! Top notch food - highly recommend the Fiorentina risotto and Fiorentina bistecca - was amazing. Great value for money and very attentive staff

Food was all fantastic. The eggs with truffles were delectable. The brushette was fantastic and Nonna's veal was excellent (very heavy on the red sauce, but still great). Staff was friendly, attentive and made it feel like a warm experience. Overall good experience

One of the best meals, if not the best, that we had in Florence. Everything was delicious. When in Florence again, we will certainly be back.

+1We went there for Christmas dinner. The service and the food were amazing! We had the Tomahawk steak, best we’ve ever had! We also shared the lasagna, tortellini, a couple appetizers, and desserts. Hoping to go back before we leave Florence. Highly recommend!

Amazing food. A brilliant atmosphere created by Goran and team who provided first class service with a smile and humour. Couldn’t ask for more!

Being in Florence during truffle season one would expect if you’re ordering pasta with truffles you’re going to have white local truffles instead they were black truffles. The taste of significantly different. As for dessert, the Panna cotta was the worst I have ever eaten. it was so filled with gelatin that I barely could get my Spoon through it and as for fresh berries, it was a congealed berry purée which I’ve never seen.

We ate here as it was a Tripadvisor recommendation. My husband didn’t like his starter, it wasn’t as he expected but that’s personal choice. The rest of the food we had was fine. We ordered a bottle of water which never came, but when we got the bill it had been added. This was quickly rectified when we pointed it out. The staff were friendly and service was prompt.

+2The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions and suggestions on the menu. All of the food was excellent or amazing. The place is just the right size and not one of those overhyped places. We had a reservation, but you could walk in and have a table with minimal wait. Our waitress was the best The Bisteca Flortenia and the Spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino were amazing. I will definitely eat here again.

We were a party of 7 and felt as if the server was just trying to get thru working her job. Wasn't very helpful with questions. Had better service and food the day before at trattorio verdi and will not return here.

So Dirty bathroom! Unbearable ! Veryuncomfortable position of our table in the everybody’s way even I had previous reservation and many other tables were empty. I asked for another table but received No. Personal running back and forth , sweaty owner - extremely not pleasant experience. Dirty and pleasant place.

From our welcoming initial greeting, the personable service and attention, the ambiance, the menu and wine options, and the food quality, our time at Osteria Giglio d'Oro was absolutely terrific!

The steak was amazing... so delicious. The pasta, grilled vegetables and tiramisu were also really good. Great service too. It's an easy 3 block walk and great place to go after visiting the Academy Museum/David status.

Situated in a side street with a view to the Duomo. Offered tables inside or outside, which we took as it was a lovely evening. Very friendly and engaging waiters, great English spoken too. great selection of dishes on menu at very good prices. We shared an antipasti of bruschetta, 3 of which I enjoyed !! The fourth .. hmm not so much 😂 delicious plates of pasta .. arrabiata for my hubby which was perfectly seasoned and with heat which he loved. Mine was the carbonara .. my first of this trip and was delicioso ! I saved space for a dessert of tiramisu which was just a heavenly end to our meal. .. apart from the complimentary limoncello which just finished the whole experience wonderfully. We watched a large wedding party stroll down the street which made for an authentic Italian evening out. Will definitely return if we get chance this time, depending where we spend our next two days. But can wholly recommend .. pizzas looked great too .. as did the bistecca fiorentina on next table

Initially waiter was cold and not friendly when had questions about wine and food menu. Restaurant was empty as we ate early. He warmed up after we ordered. Pasta with boar ragu was very good. Osso bucco with peas was “good”. It was a good dining experience. Expected excellent.

Unbelievably good food. Truly excellent pasta dishes. We were only in Florence 6 days (visiting from the UK) but ate here twice as it was the best food we found.

Wonderful dinner! We had a fresh pasta with wild boar, a Florentine steak, and a fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms. Service was great, ambience was lovely- can be casual or dressier. I will definitely return on my next visit. Highly recommend
