The steak was amazing... so delicious. The pasta, grilled vegetables and tiramisu were also really good. Great service too. It's an easy 3 block walk and great place to go after visiting the Academy Museum/David status.

Situated in a side street with a view to the Duomo. Offered tables inside or outside, which we took as it was a lovely evening. Very friendly and engaging waiters, great English spoken too. great selection of dishes on menu at very good prices. We shared an antipasti of bruschetta, 3 of which I enjoyed !! The fourth .. hmm not so much 😂 delicious plates of pasta .. arrabiata for my hubby which was perfectly seasoned and with heat which he loved. Mine was the carbonara .. my first of this trip and was delicioso ! I saved space for a dessert of tiramisu which was just a heavenly end to our meal. .. apart from the complimentary limoncello which just finished the whole experience wonderfully. We watched a large wedding party stroll down the street which made for an authentic Italian evening out. Will definitely return if we get chance this time, depending where we spend our next two days. But can wholly recommend .. pizzas looked great too .. as did the bistecca fiorentina on next table

Initially waiter was cold and not friendly when had questions about wine and food menu. Restaurant was empty as we ate early. He warmed up after we ordered. Pasta with boar ragu was very good. Osso bucco with peas was “good”. It was a good dining experience. Expected excellent.

Wonderful dinner! We had a fresh pasta with wild boar, a Florentine steak, and a fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms. Service was great, ambience was lovely- can be casual or dressier. I will definitely return on my next visit. Highly recommend

Great little restaurant with loads of atmosphere. My wife and I between us had tagliolini and truffles, salad caprese, steak florentine for one and the aubergine main. All were outstanding. 2 nice wines, a Chardonnay and a Chianti rounded off the meal. Service was very friendly and a special thanks to our lovely young waitress. Prices were very fairer €22.50 for the steak (which I couldn’t finish - it was large). Highly recommend but you’ll need to book. It was humming on a Saturday night!

Our server was the worst! We asked if they had a house wine as most restaurants do in Venice and he attempted to try to confuse and upsell us as he thought we didn't understand. The server also insulted us by telling that we should leave him a large tip as it was not included in the bill even though we paid a large cover charge per individual - we fully understand how tipping works it Italy. Food was great, with the exception of the bread. I have been to this restaurant 3 times and this was not up to expectations.

Perfecto! The food is delicious, the staff is extremely friendly, and the view of the Duomo is stunning. Try the homemade pasta wiyh wild boar ragu-you will fall in love.

Great food great service. The white beans roasted potatoes are a must. And the spaghetti with oil and red pepper. Definitely go.
