+2The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions and suggestions on the menu. All of the food was excellent or amazing. The place is just the right size and not one of those overhyped places. We had a reservation, but you could walk in and have a table with minimal wait. Our waitress was the best The Bisteca Flortenia and the Spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino were amazing. I will definitely eat here again.

6/10We were a party of 7 and felt as if the server was just trying to get thru working her job. Wasn't very helpful with questions. Had better service and food the day before at trattorio verdi and will not return here.

3/10So Dirty bathroom! Unbearable ! Veryuncomfortable position of our table in the everybody’s way even I had previous reservation and many other tables were empty. I asked for another table but received No. Personal running back and forth , sweaty owner - extremely not pleasant experience. Dirty and pleasant place.

10/10The steak was amazing... so delicious. The pasta, grilled vegetables and tiramisu were also really good. Great service too. It's an easy 3 block walk and great place to go after visiting the Academy Museum/David status.

10/10Situated in a side street with a view to the Duomo. Offered tables inside or outside, which we took as it was a lovely evening. Very friendly and engaging waiters, great English spoken too. great selection of dishes on menu at very good prices. We shared an antipasti of bruschetta, 3 of which I enjoyed !! The fourth .. hmm not so much 😂 delicious plates of pasta .. arrabiata for my hubby which was perfectly seasoned and with heat which he loved. Mine was the carbonara .. my first of this trip and was delicioso ! I saved space for a dessert of tiramisu which was just a heavenly end to our meal. .. apart from the complimentary limoncello which just finished the whole experience wonderfully. We watched a large wedding party stroll down the street which made for an authentic Italian evening out. Will definitely return if we get chance this time, depending where we spend our next two days. But can wholly recommend .. pizzas looked great too .. as did the bistecca fiorentina on next table

Initially waiter was cold and not friendly when had questions about wine and food menu. Restaurant was empty as we ate early. He warmed up after we ordered. Pasta with boar ragu was very good. Osso bucco with peas was “good”. It was a good dining experience. Expected excellent.
