10/10We selected Osteria il Bertoldo from a list in The Fork. Everything about the experience was fabulous. Our waiter made great menu and wine recommendations. We had a Lugana, very nice, with a meat and cheese plate, and my baccala tortelloni was super. The dining room was very comfortable; it is small, so best to make a reservation. This was one of the best meals we have ever had. Highly recommended.

10/10Excellent restaurant! Menu is well balanced and the food we choose was delicious and served in good portions. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the food they serve. Overall the price of the dinner we had with a good basic wine was very reasonable and worth the experience.

10/10The ambiance was perfect. It's such a cosy restaurant with mixed decor that works well together. The chandelier was so over top, and yet it was a great fit in the tiny restaurant. We wanted to share different dishes in order to taste as much as possible; the waiter was so nice about it, served our meals on separate plates and recommended the order in which we should eat the dishes - which worked brilliantly. The food was AMAZING! I will be dreaming about the gnocchi with truffle flakes for months. Absolutely delicious.

5.5/10They forgot two orders, they brought the pasta before the appetizer and after ordering white wine after having rose wine they did not dven change the glass. They were not really sorry about anything.

10/10Il Bertoldo is a wonderful welcoming place for dinner. The staff was very kind and helpful. We even had a little Italian lesson with our waitress. Our food was delicious. Wine was very nicely priced. We would definitely return again.

10/10Its hard to fault the mastery behind the dishes when the balance is so good. Bold and punchy where it needs to be, airy and sophisticated when it suits. The food here is just so darn good.

10/10Wonderful restaurant in Verona. The food was excellent, atmosphere was enjoyable and staff was friendly and helpful. Every course was very good for every individual in our group. The most consistently good meal we have had in Italy during our 17 day trip. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Verona, guarantee you will not be disappointed!

9.5/10The restaurant was cozy and the food and wine excellent. The value was good, too. They seemed to have non-native waiters, for no good reason - speaking and understanding Italian tongue and habits is surely paramount. But most everything else was either very good or excellent!

7/10I truly believed that this place is overrated. They have a rude female waitress and the food was just ok. it is cozy and the place is quiet but that was it. Not a place I would go back.

10/10I loved the decor in this restaurant it was cosy & held the essence of Italy. It was busy even on a Tuesday so best to book. The food was amazing! Best pasta & the Rabbit was brilliant. I had the Canolo for desert which was to die for!

10/10What a wonderful experience near such a beautiful, historical city center! We were a group of six and were able to enjoy an authentic Italian dinner with absolutely no issues at all. The owners and waiters were incredible and attentive, always accommodating all of our needs. Couldn’t have asked for a more amazing late-night dinner with loved ones!

10/10A small but excellent Osteria a bit off the beaten path in Verona. Outstanding service, being friendly but not overbearing. The food was great from the appetizers through dessert. The wine recommendations were also very good. I can highly recommend this restaurant and I would not hesitate to return when I have the chance. The prices were very reasonable given the high quality.
